I really liked this place. The schnitzel was delicious! The garden was well set out with heaters and blankets too. They had tvs playing the football and it was packed with locals. Fortunately they spoke English too :)I recommend this place to everyone! I paid 13⬠for a schnitzel and 2 beers.

We went here for lunch and it was very crowded for good reason. the food is excellent and the staff quite friendly. There are tables outside in the sun, casual tables and more high end tables in the front. The dishes are reasonably priced, but you get a lot. There is a daily special which is particularly good. the kitchen is open in 1500.

This is THE Italian restaurant in Münster.... so packed on Friday night. Service is absolutely friendly, but with so many diners, it took a while to get the food. All was forgotten once it arrived though. Great starteres, wonderfiul pizza and a good selection of affordable wines.

I had been craving some paella for several months, but finding a restaurant that was willing to prepare such a meal for anything less than ten people. El Flamenco was willing to do so for our party of five people, so we eagerly jumped on the opportunity. It is located in Hiltrup--a suburb south of Muenster. Parking is available next to the nearby supermarket. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great, with typical Spanish/Mediterranean decor, and a very friendly wait staff. The paella itself was fish-based (they also offer a chicken/pork-based version), and was excellent. The ingredients were fresh and perfectly complemented each other. Everybody in our dinner party agreed that the paella was authentic and close to what one would receive in Spain. We really enjoyed our evening at this restaurant and plan on being back before long.

Went to Gasthaus Stuhlmacher for dinner with a colleague and a customer. The atmosphere was quite lovely with the really nice service that made the evening really nice. We had the Herring appetizer and I ordered the Trout for dinner. While the beer selection left a bit to be desired, dinner was quite good. The Trout was fresh and well fried with a crispy skin and nice juicy inside. Overall enjoyed the food, though try some of the other restaurants next time

Regional cuisine. Westphalian recipes using the finest ingredients, all freshly cooked. Animal welfare is important to us! We support SLOW FOOD a long time. Try our bitter house beer or the wines from our own import. Beautiful bright meeting room for up t
Ate at the Grosser Kiepenkerl on a Saturday with a larger group. The service was very friendly and were helpful with specialty requests regarding food on and off the menu. The appetizers came quite fast so that the rather longer wait for the main course was tolerable (all tables were booked, so the kitchen was quite busy). The main course was brought out for all at the same time, which resulted in medium warm side dishes for some of us. However, the service responded professionally and brought out a selection of hot sides for all to share. The more traditional dishes were good, the venison dishes were variable. Overall, the experience was good for service, the food itself was ok, but not superb for my taste.

This place is on a lovely little street of restaurants and beer houses. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. Good, reasonably priced wines can be drunk with your meal, even though it is a brewery. The food is good quality, simple German cooking which we enjoyed. The service is very efficient. Warmly recommended.

One of the "must" places (along with its larger namesake neighbor) you have to eat at to experience Muensterland food and Gemuetlichkeit. Quiet, good food. Pleasant wait-staff. Try the local Altbierbowle (beer with syrup,..you won't know you're drinking beer). The Lachs (salmon) and Kruestchen Bratkartoffeln were great. About 20 euros per person.

We enjoyed our dinner here well enough, but were slightly disappointed by a number of the dishes. The pork was a little dry, and the homemade sausage was not very tasty - the blood sausage especially had a strange texture. However, sauerkraut and bratkartoffeln were both excellent. A good traditional German meal, nice atmosphere and excellent service, but not the greatest food we've had of its type.
