The name means the same as the english expression "to put your foot in your mouth." But, nobody's foot is on the plate here. Just freshly prepared dishes at a fair price. Don't expect a 3-star meal at these prices. But, the food is good with a menu sufficient to meet most people's needs. English is spoken.

This is a well hidden smallish pizzeria, on a side street. As a result, nearly all of the customers are locals. Most are obviously regular customers as well.La Pasta, on the other side of the square, does excellent and imaginative pastas. This is not quite at the same level, but it's well above the bog standard chain pizzeria level. As I do live fairly locally, this has now been promoted to the default pizzeria, a position which is a vital one for anyone who has children to stay fairly frequently! The pizza bases were the right level of crispiness. The toppings were fresh, tasty and imaginatively chosen. My cheese dessert was excellent. The house wine was above-average quality and very fair value for money. The service was extremely friendly and helpful. What more could you want from a local restaurant!

When I have visitors stay I take them here. Precisely to have a French culinary experience. Naturally, for a reasonable price. Imperative to go at mid-day for the Menu otherwise prices are unaffordable for many. The service, personnelle not to mention the food (nearest you will get to a *Michelin) is superb. After, donât forget to walk round Mougins old town which is very pretty also great views of surrounding area. You can park your car no charge just before (on the left) you arrive to the village or drive into the village and there is parking provided just bellow.

We have been visiting Mouans-Sartoux for the past three years and will not be using Le Cafe Terrasse again although it used to be our restaurant of choice. The food is still generally good, but the service levels have dropped significantly. There appears to be only one waiter who puts the effort in and the rest are slow. When you are paying that sort of money for a nice meal out on holiday, then you do not expect to have to wait half an hour for your order to be taken. Nor do you expect to have to go up to the bar to chase the bill. Such a shame as it was so good in previous years.

Great ambiance, but the wine is so over priced. The food which is limited due to the fact that there are only 2 members of staff. It has a very small balcony overlooking the medieval village of Tourrrettes sur Loup. There are only 3 tables so you must wait for an available table, otherwise eat inside.

All the flavors of the Mediterranean based on fresh local products Respect of French know-how for 10 years And a wine bar in a unique setting #sortiramouans
To be fair, we arrived at the end of their lunch hour and they were obliging. We did however have to make some fast decisions on our meal. Perhaps not the best, but not unpleasant. From the locals, the food is apparently very good and we will be back for a dinner. If in the area, worth a try

Christine and Thierry welcome you to feast your taste buds with authentic fine dining , gourmet , home made with fresh, local products green surroundings in the shade of olive trees, garden for children , private parking
New owners - just taken over in the last week - but the quality remains the same - superb French cuisine with an emphasis on local produce, slightly off the beaten track but well worth the effort of finding it. The garden and play facilities mean that adults can enjoy a great meal and the kids won't get bored. Very friendly proprioters who speak English. Highly recommended if you are staying in or near Cannes.

Homemade food, fresh French fries, pie/cake, coffee, aperitif. A terrace is available and also an inner room (recently renovated). The quality at the best price.
We were looking for a nice small restaurant in a nice small French village and we found what we were looking for. It is a very small place (5-6 tables), family owned it seems, with great "homey" design, on a very nice street in the centre of the village. The owners were willing to explain us the dishes (they don't speak English and our French is poor), bringing us stuff from.the kitchen to make us understand what they were speaking about.Food - having read the references here, I expected some really special fresh food. The food was good - nothing to say here; however, seems like the dishes (or some ingredients) were frozen and warmed up before serving. The home wine was alright.Price is great, really reasonable (or even cheap, considering we are in this part of France) - 37 euro for two (2 main dishes, 1 salad, 1/2 home wine, water, bread).Overall, quite a good experience.merci de votre avis mais pour ce qui est des plats pour les lasagnes nous somme oblige de les rechauffer a la demande merci encore

Amazing restaurant set in the charming Old Town of Mouans-Sartoux. Set in a cozy dining room with the open kitchen. The owner presented us with lavender champagne to start. Delightful fruity flavor. The aperitif was followed by several amazing courses. My lamb was perfectly cooked. The chocolate dessert was also amazing. After our dessert we were presented with a delicious buttery Madeline. Overall a fanatastic dining experience!
