Left Bank Restaurant is a fine-dining staple bringing authentic French cuisine to the heart of Vail Village. Come dine in style!
I had no complaints about a cocktail, onion soup and oysters. My wife however did not enjoy their homemade pasta and her burratta was served slightly too cold (should be at room temp).I would return but she would not. Looks like I won't be returning at least with her. Kurt was our waiter - he is also the bartender and he was very competent and made me feel right at home. Thanks for your support, Neil! Glad to hear you enjoyed your meal. If there was anything wrong with your wife's meal, you should have let us know -- we would have fixed things as best as we could. Hope to see you back in the future. -Jean-Michel, Owner

We had breakfast at Ludwigâs and couldnât believe how wonderful it was. There were so many stations with a wide variety of fruit, pastries, meats, cheeses, pancakes, waffles, omelettes, etc. The service was excellent and everything was beautifully displayed and tasted great. Wow!

national historic land mark...creek side dining... serviced by free shuttle in Beaver Creek...on-site parking... owned and operated by Belgian Master Chef,Daniel Joly
Mirabelle is located in an old farmhouse at the bottom of the entrance road to Beaver Creek. It is a lovely setting --what I would call "country elegance". The menu features a good mix of meats and fish, all prepared with fresh local ingredients. At our most recent evening at Mirabelle, my wife and I rated the crab cake appetizer and creme brûlée among the best ever. The wine list provides a wide range of good choices, although in some cases not the vintages that I would prefer. All-in-all, we highly recommend Mirabelle.

We were staying at the Hotel Talisa and the concierge there, Christine, recommended we come here for dinner. Since itâs the end of the ski season they are running specials, like 27% off select wine bottles and all dinner entrees are $27. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy. We got a great table by the window. Our server was attentive and personable. He suggested that we talk to the sommelier for wine selection. The Somm, Kye (I think thatâs how you spell his name) was approachable and easy going, not stuffy nor pushy. We selected, with his help, a French red wine that is not from your more common regions. This wine is from the Minervois region. If you donât finish the bottle you can bring it with you; they put it in a bag for you. For appetizer we ordered the Shishito peppers, great presentation and well-made. For the entree we decided to go for a local specialty, the rocky mountain trout meunière. So crispy yet juicy and tender, with lots yet well-balanced flavor. Great experience with good food and wine!

Miamimangomike gave a very accurate and eloquent review that I would agree with 100%. Our Weinerschnitzel was dried out along with the potatoes. The jagerschnitzel's sauce tasted like it came out of can. So disappointing.

Cozy, quaint, clean (a definite Bavarian/Austrian touch everywhere, just like the Original Sonnenalp) and the patio right at the stream is amazing on a warm summer morning, what's not to love? For the quality and selection offered, we think the prices ($24 Continental, $38 full buffet) are fair (Coffee's teas and many juices are included as well and the Cappuchino's are excellent). The service we experienced as "walk-ins" was exceptional - from the greeter to the waiters - world class all-around. Our new favorite breakfast place in Eagle County.Dear tvonruex,Thank you for your wonderful revue. it is always such a pleasure to hear that our service and food at Ludwig's breakfast was exceptional. Love to hear that we are your new favorite breakfast place in whole Eagle County. Hoping to welcoming you back shortly again.RegardsDanijela McGinley

We come to the Swiss Chalet every year during Vail Oktoberfest. We were disappointed that they no longer have the appetizer cheese fondue. As a result we had to get it as a entree which comes with both bread and a very generous amount of vegetables. We were too full to order another entree, and we missed being able to have our weinersnitzel. We did have a salad, plus a dessert called Heisse Liebe (which translates to hot love). It has a hot raspberry/rum sauce, vanilla ice cream, topped with whipped cream and fresh raspberries. We would have come back the next night to have that dessert again, but they are closed on Mondays. The service is amazing, and they check on you every 3-5 minutes. We can't wait to come back next year.Dear Alphaj,Let me know when you are back next year and I can see what we can do to accommodate an appetizer size. Agreed, there is always room for one of our favorite summer desserts "Heisse Liebe". Don't hesitate to reach out: 970-479-5523.BestDanijela McGinley

What a FANTASTIC evening. EVERYTHING, from the moment we arrived could not have been better. The atmosphere was spell binding. The staff, friendly, efficient, accommodating are professional and represented the restaurant accordingly. The menu, right from Austria with a slight Bavarian touch. The meals are delicious and filling. Authentic flavors abound. I find it difficult to share our true feelings as everything was just wonderful, I thought I had returned to the Alps.Vielen Dank,
