Good illustrated menu with good range of choices. Pleasant seating area overlooking harbour. Excellent friendly service. Quality food . Beer served from frosted glass and certainly seemed to improve flavour. Clean toilets and altogether a clean and well run establishment.Reasonable prices and good sized portions.

We were six persons and unanimously felt that this taverna was the most charming, authentic, and tastiest that we visted in the area. Everything was freshly cooked from good products and tasted like you would imagine your Greek grandmother would serve, if you had one. Makis was our host and treated us like family, explaining what was on the menu, in addition (!!) to the Pastitsio he had prepared especially for us that evening. There was no pressure to order large amounts and the prices were extremely reasonable. We had a quiet, wonderful meal, in an unassuming corner of a typical small Cretan town, which looks like a scene out of a movie. WE will happily come again and absolutely recommend this Taverna for everyone who is in the area or passing by. Best to reserve in advance so that Makis and Eleni can prepare. Also, ask if it is Music Night.

Nice menu designed by Yves Mattagne with lots of flavors and extraordinary creations. We took the maximum courses menu and enjoyed a great dinner with my wife. Amazing sea views, nice food quality! A must try restaurant during your vacation there.
