I wrote a review on the Waterside after having a fantastic Christmas lunch here, since then my husband and I have been back twice for the normal lunch menu and both times were so impressed. The food is exceptional top restaurant standard at such reasonable prices the service is brilliant and the atmosphere so relaxing. It really is the best place we have eaten for a very long time. The menu changes regularly and we were given a copy of the new menu which starts next month it looks equally as good and we are excited to try the new dishes.I can't recommend the Waterside enough if you havn't been you must try it.A special mention to Linda who is so welcoming and great with the students.Well done to all the students for the great job they are all doing and good luck with your studies - you would all be a huge asset to any restaurant.Oh and you get a loyalty card which when full entitles you to a free main course!Thank you for your fantastic feedback, we pride ourselves on our quality of food and service given, our students thrive on looking after all customers as without you all they would not be able to grow and develop their skills , sure we will see you after half term!

Saturday night and the place was buzzing despite yet another rainy night in Middlesbrough town centre - friendly and efficient staff- was impressed that the chicken liver parfait was more tasty than most and was more solid than most - honey coated pork medallions were tender and well flavoured with seasonal vegetables . The house red is good value for money . Good value in a competitive area Thank you for taking time to leave feedback from your recent visit. I am delighted to hear you had a fantastic experience with us. We look forward to your return. Many Thanks Philomena

This has become a favourite family eatery in Middlesbrough. There is always a nice welcoming atmosphere and the service is very friendly and efficient. The quality of food is always excellent and itâs well worth trying the Polish specialities. Even more importantly, you must save room for the delicious homemade cakes.

A last minute decision to have an early evening meal. Two of us have been here before and 2 hadn't. All of our meal choices were excellent. The staff are excellent and will help with your meal choices and any changes (one of our group is fussy) and accommodated the slight changes with no bother and a smile - what more can you ask for. There is a choice of a set menu or ordering from the main menu, all have a lovely selection to choose from. All in all, well worth a visit.

Turkish & Mediterranean Restaurant Freshly cooked with fresh ingredients healthy food. Warm welcome and atmosphere
A lovely meal in a lovely setting with excellent service. A great choice on the menu for starters and main dishes. In fact, we had difficulty choosing our main courses as there was such a good for choice. All freshly prepared with fresh ingredients. The staff were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be visiting again.
