Located on the first floor and porch of The Plantation Inn B&B in Old Lahaina, with free parking for guests and a homey atmosphere, Gerard's Restaurant gave us a memorable meal for our Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary. The dining room and porch hold relatively few tables, so our server and bartender were able give us friendly, attentive, fine-dining-experience service. The meals on our plates were artfully arranged, set on a table with formal linens, dinnerware, stemware, and flowers. There are times when paper-wrapped, hand-held food and plastic utensils are appropriate, but Gerard's is, instead, the place to go for more formal occasions and tasty meals.

Matteoâs Osteria is Italian Soulfood in the heart of Wailea located at The Wailea Town Center. As the 2016 âAipono Award winners for "Best Italian Restaurant on Maui," we invite you to savor our healthy, locally-sourced, homemade pastas, pizzette & entrée
I have previously wrote positive reviews and this was our favorite hidden gem restaurant in Maui...have recommended Matteo's to dozen of friends. Last night, however, we were terribly disappointed. Table was in horrible location...a third chair was added to a table of two. We were exhausted from a long trip to Maui but were looking forward to a leisurely dinner for my husband's birthday. Bad table, behind large wedding party in cramped area. Appetizers were brought out within minutes of ordering. So rushed with bus boys hovering over our table and trying to take plates away before we finished. It was clear they were trying to rush us through service to accommodate long line of people waiting outside. It was nothing like we remembered. We agreed to stop after four rushed appetizers and skip entrees... 35 minutes later and $100 tab for 4 appetizers and one glass of wine. The entire experience threw us in a whirl of exhaustion. The check promptly left with us sans any birthday recognition. Mahalo...we won't be back.

Ferraroâs Bar e Ristorante at Four Seasons Resort Maui epitomizes every element of the perfect place to dine in Hawaii. Its spectacular beachfront setting is enhanced by Ferraro's open-air design, which takes full advantage of Wailea's warm, dry, sunny we
Yes, Ferraro's is expensive, but this is Wailea and this is The Four Seasons. The setting alone is incredible, dining watching the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. Fantastic service, extremely attentive, never rushed. Both our server, Madeline and the busboy, Richard, were incredible. The Burrata salad is delicious and was the snapper entree. It's worth every penny.
