We enjoyed our lunch in this lovely restaurant with fantastic view of the Thames from our table by the window. Very nice helpful staff. Our 3 course lunch included lovely warm home made rolls to start. Very small starter of pate, (would order soup next time). Lovely fish main, my husband had the chicken and enjoyed it.again not large portions if you are a hungry male but just about big enough for us. My desert was FAB.my husband was however dissapointed with his cheese board. Not much taste in most of the cheeses and hard Brie. All in all a nice meal and will return.

Bridging the gap between country inn & local restaurant The White Oak is an independent and contemporary 'Gastro Pub' where the kitchen & service sets out to please. A L Carte & Set menus also decent value (£15/19 for two/three courses at lunch and dinner
Saturday lunch for 5. Starters superb. Chicken liver parfait and smoked mackerel pate excellent. Main courses great. Cannot comment on puddings as we didnt have any. Service excellent. Slightly expensive but still value for money. Definitely a place to return to.

Third time unlucky! This was our third visit to the Ivy at Marlow, the previous two times had been fantastic. We came to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday. The restaurant is beautiful, food is great, but the experience this time was really let down by the attitude of the staff, especially the hostesses who âwelcomeâ you and seat you upon arrival. We wanted a drink at the bar before dinner (we were 30 mins ahead of our table booking). Firstly told my 14 year old son could not be in the bar (unusual, but fair enough), but then told we could not gather together as it would be too crowded, and could we stand in the corner! Then effectively told to drink up and move to the table due to other guests arriving (there wasnât). All of this was delivered with an attitude that made me feel less than welcome. The service at the table was then patchy at best, long wait for the order to be taken and long delay for the wine to arrive, with me having to chase it up. The waitresses could do with being a bit more friendly and engaging. Iâm all for professional, but they come across as cold and disinterested. My daughter loved the night, so mission accomplished, but just wish it could have been the 5 star experience we had the previous two visits.

Went for an evening meal - we were aiming for traditional but this was just a bit too dated. 'sweet trolley', very very lengthy menu with nothing outstanding on it.We also booked for 8pm weeks ago, on booking I got pushed back to 8.15 but when we arrived we got placed in the 'waiting area' and didn't actually get seated until 9pm ... there was another group in the same situation but for 3 of us I thought this was a bad etiquette and they are over-booking and waiting for the first sitting to finish without telling them the table is booked. Also by buying drinks in between we felt it did not 'enhance' our meal experience but rather took slightly away.

Our inspiration for the food and design of Cote is a modern interpretation of the many famous bistros of Paris. Inspired by new trends, we are dedicated to serving authentic classic brasserie dishes with a modern twist, using high quality produce at great
The booking for a Monday night meal for 2 was made via the internet (via Book a Table) and proved to be quick, easy and efficient. It is suggested that no matter when you are going that a reservation is made in advance both to ensure you get a table and that no other âlargeâ event is taking place or occurring at your chosen time. The restaurant is easy to find being in the West Street (A4155), Marlow, but you may find parking has its challenges, even on a âquietâ night. It is worth noting that taxi fares in the area range from £12 - £15 for a 5 minute journey. The overall atmosphere is that of a simple clean décor with good lighting and very open plan. However the tables are quite close together and it can become quite noisy (echoes) at times, even when not busy. We were also âput offâ by the entry door used by the staff to access in/out of the kitchen; this was dirty and had finger marks and food stains over the paintwork and brass. On arrival we were greeted and shown to our table â the service throughout was very attentive and quite polite, with not rush to order. There were several menuâs to choose from and the ability to mix and match across them. All food dishes are cooked fresh to order, were of acceptable quality and value with decent portions being served. Items of note from our chosen dishes included the main of Lemon Sole and tor sweet the Crème Caramel â both well worth having a try. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant, however the food is just like any other Côte if I'm being honest, nothing really sets brassiere apart from others in the chain.

Wow the food is absolutely amazing one of the best meals Iâve had. The restaurant is cosy and the staff were fantastic a lovely ambience. The small details make this a memorable experience. Definitely worth a visit especially for special occasions. Can see why itâs got its mitchelin stars well deserved

A friendly restaurant featuring good authentic Italian food in a comfortable, modern surroundings. La Cantina Del Vino offers alfresco dining in the warm summer months and a variety of eating experiences including seasonal dishes, home-made Italian favour
Great Italian restaurant in Marlow. Went with friends for an evening meal with drinks. I started with seafood including baby octopus, squid, prawns etc in a lovely sauce. This followed by king prawns with potato and courgettes. Vegetable dishes which accompanied were huge! For desert almond tart with ice cream. One of the best meals for ages! Highly recommended.

My fiance and I have been visiting Da Luca since the restaurant opened and we have never been disappointed! The food is delicious, wines have been carefully chosen and the atmosphere is fantastic. The staff are friendly and attentive, and nothing is ever too much trouble. Really recommend the pizzas, they are FANTASTIC! Luca has set up a wonderful business. The fact the restaurant is one of the best in Marlow and is nominated for an award says it all! Go go go!

This place is a gem! There was a warm welcome and a comfortable seat in the slightly squashed dining room. A beautiful creamy risotto to start with just a hint of chalkiness. Then a celeriac veloutee amuse bouche - aromatic and smooth. The beef I had was cooked just right, flavoursome and reasonably tender - much better than the menu price would suggest. A trio of elegant deserts finished off a fine meal, especially considering the modest bill - rightly inflated with a top for the impeccable service. 5 stars from me!
