We visited at the end of June and managed to communicate although my french is pretty terrible! The owners were very helpful with the menu as my husband is celiac and we therefore had a very tasty 3 courses. The restaurant was busy with locals which is always a good sign - and the patrons were also very friendly! I would highly recommend this restaurant. Well worth hunting for it!

We wanted something simple and quick, but with a French twist. Although the waiter spoke little English he was very helpful and happy to muck in. We chose the seafood salad which was a bit random and the greenery appeared to have seen better days. Can't honestly say I wish to return but I guess it did what it said on the tin - simple fair, fast. The outside seating area was nice as it is just by the water but make sure you apply insect repellent!

We stumbled across this restaurant at just the right time and we were very pleasantly surprised. Arriving with no expectations is a wonderful thing and can often go terribly wrong, however not this time!Staff are experienced and the place was packed with locals which is always a good sign.Extensive wine list as one would expect in the heart of the Medoc, with wines of the Moulis-en-Médoc region highlighted. The lamb and the sirloin were very good, as was the scallops and duck confit. The food was so good that we came here for lunch twice.

Small local place in the middle of wine country serving family cooking, not very fancy but good. Serving sizes are good sized and filling. Be prepared to be a little adventurous if you are not from France. It was all good. Service was below average, not very helpful and inefficient. Have to have patience to eat here. Worth a stop for an easy lunch.

We visited with high expectations after reading reviews on TripAdvisor. Unfortunately we were quite disappointed. We sat outside since it was a nice evening and waited a long time, even by French standards, to be served. People who came in after us were served first and this lack of attention continued throughout. We were served some canapes which is a nice touch. However, the outside area was full of mosquitoes and many tables moved inside as a result. The food was the biggest letdown. The starters were very good, we had the ham and melon and the caprese salad, both were tasty. As a vegetarian, I really struggled to find something to eat for main. When I asked the waitress for their vegetarian option, I was offered an omelette or vegetables. Not what you expect from this sort of restaurant. Therefore, I opted to have a starter and dessert instead as I wasn't left with any other option. Two of our party had the duck for main which was overcooked and a disappointment. We wouldn't visit this restaurant again or recommend it to others.

Located in the new wing of the Spa centre, the brasserie will offer a magical view on the golf course and Gironde river. It is open every day for lunches.
After deciding against two fine dining restaurants in Margaux (we were looking for a light lunch, not an afternoon of eating, which is what fine dining restaurants expect from you), we asked a local about a place to eat. He referred us to this place, it's overseeing a golf course, complete with a nice fountain. The weather was good and we sat outside, enjoying a rare day of sunshine after so much rain. Smoked salmon with some onions and pickled carrots cost a modest â¬9, a large salad with jumbo shrimp and thai dressing was â¬22, cafe delicious, glass of Champagne â¬12. Food was good, but the service was distracted and slow. Pay the cashier as you go out.**

We stayed for 2 nights. On day 1, the weather was wonderful for early May (27 degrees)Perfect to eat outside on the terrace. The meal was classy and beautifully presented and served. The wine choice was affordable but not reduced in quality. The filet de boef could not be cooked this well in England. Desserts were stylish and light. This felt like "proper" French restaurant presentation.A meal for two with wine - 100â¬.

A friendly welcome on arrival and the guy was ok with our small well-behaved dog. Plat du jour was 9 euros working up to 14 for three courses. A la carte was a little more expensive but nothing that broke the piggy bank. The duck burgers were delicious with 100% duck breast. As for the tiramisu that was 'better than delicious' - in the words of my husband! Clean establishment with ample parking.

We were thrilled to find this quiet spot for lunch. The terrace is peaceful and shaded. There were two lunch options, apparently it changes daily, probably based on what is fresh and in season. We started with the most delicious gespacho ever, then a lovely salad and a huge dessert. The service was excellent. Would definitely go back and certainly recommend it!
