We had a family dinner in this restaurant located in the picturesque village of Malaucène near the Ventoux. The restaurant has a nice terrace near a garden. We took the menu at 32⬠and the food was good. Service was relatively fast and friendly. An enjoyable experience.

So good, this is our second visit to this lovely restaurant. Tasty well presented food & very accommodating for family groups. Selling local wine too. Definitely worth a visit & we may be back again before our return to home.

Restaurant didnât live up to the setting. Lovely long tree-lined drive up to impressive gates and a lovely terrace. Basically three choices per course which is ok. My wife had albacore tuna with a citrus sorbet on top. Sounds odd but it was delicious. I had heritage tomatoes which were exactly that - sliced tomatoes with a little burratta on a basil leaf. Hardly difficult cooking. Mains were dos de cabillaud which had far too much tapenade with it - drowned the taste of the fish and filet mignon pork with clams which looked as if it had just been thrown together. We didnât have desert but had cheese instead ( why did we have to tell them what desert we wanted when we ordered?). Cheese was ok but waitress couldnât tell us what they were or what order we should eat them in. With a bottle of medium priced wine, two glasses of champagne and two glasses of house wine, 151 Euros felt a lot for the meal. Itâs their first season so things may get better but we wonât wait and see.

A small, family-run restaurant with a beautiful view over the Provençal hills - especially enjoyable in the spring and summer when one can eat outside on the terrace.Wonderfully inventive, delicious dishes to please any palate. And, they are very accommodating for special diets.

The restaurant is actually called Hangar #1 and is located within the Spa Ventoux Provence. There is a lovely terrace in the summer and a well decorated smallish dining room. The menu is innovative and well-balanced with many healthy choices. The chef has a deft hand with fruit-based sauces and uses very fresh ingredients... all of the meat, seafood, and vegetables were top quality (there were eight of us so I was able to sample a number of dishes!). There are a number of salad choices for those who wish a lighter meal, and the fixed-price menu structure is flexible enough to have any number of courses. Wine list is limited but very well considered with a number of organic wines, and not too expensive. I would highly recommend this as a place for lunch or dinner, whether as an interlude during the SPA visit or as a food destination in and of itself.

We really didn't expect too much from this restaurant. Nevertheless, we were disappointed. Our half bottle of wine was way overpriced for what we got. We chose the daily menu for nineteen euros. The appetizer consisted of three totally mushy shrimp - I have never encountered seafood of that consistency anywhere and have no idea what they did to it. The side salad was puny, yet tasty. Our main was pork cheek which was good and ample, but not freshly made. The only side they served us was an unidentifiable small round of breaded cheese ???. There was no dessert included in the price, just coffee. The service was fine. In the dining room you feel a bit like you are in a hotel reception area. It was heated though which made a big difference on a chilly day. Overall, we felt like we did not get good value for money - I'm not sure if we got the tourist treatment. My French is okay, but not good enough to complain, otherwise I may have done that. We had some very nice meals in Provence, unfortunately this was not one of them.

We made reservations by telephone from California and Iâm glad we did. It is deservedly popular. The young man at the front of the house was kind and welcoming. We had an excellent meal and one weâll remember because of the imaginative presentations and wonderful flavors of the food.Isobel had the moules, sans shells, in a sauce to die for. I had an egg dish in a light foam sauce which was heavenly. Both dishes were decorated with flowers and we ate the lot!Next came cocquille and John Dory brochettes for Issy and a confit of lamb for me.A super, super meal and yes weâd come back in a heart beat!
