Reviews on European food in Lourdes, Occitanie, France. As the French would say, Lourdes, c’est magnifique. Nestled in the southwestern Pyrénees, its status as a pilgrimage center was largely cemented by the sighting of the Virgin Mary at the The Grotto of Massabielle. The city abounds with religious activity, with opportunities to attend mass, say the Rosary as part of the daily Candlelight Procession, or visit holy sites like the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. The Cirque de Gavarnie offers opportunities to experience breathtaking mountain beauty, such as the tiered Gavarnie Falls.

Awesome AWESOME food!Spectacular in fact and equivalent to any Michelin Star restaurant in the world.Really.Its about 5/6 mins taxi ride outskirts of Lourdes centre (can't walk to it) but SO worth the effort!! WILL NOT DISAPPOINT!OMG! Food a TOTALLY different class to town centre. True authentic French cuisine at its best but the SAME PRICE as the standard issue poor/average food in town centre.A MUST visit to put into your schedule for your Pilgrimage Tour.Just a real treat. They do a SET MENU for â¬20 (3x courses) imho best value meal I've ever eaten!Patron is Lawrence and a true gentleman and family business owner.Enjoy TRUE French culinary delight!Martin and Lisa

A good restaurant is hard to find in Lourdes and though this one lists itself as a Pizzeria, it is where the locals eat. Located SW of the big market building.
The service is top of the top, as is the atmosphere. We come back one year later and we are welcomed like the locals i.e. like friends, with a kiss!. The quality of the food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable, to say the least. Your share of pizza and a salad for EUR 10, served at your table with water. Menu EUR 13. The Tete de Veau sauce gribiche, is unbelievable. We ate three times in a row at this place until they close for their week end, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Traditional yet authentic little cozy restaurant in the centre of Lourdes. A place where you can feel at home with the bonus of being served ! Home made food for all tastes. Whether itâs energy boast with our full fry up breakfast, or a healthy choice wit
Looks like a coffee shop but it actually has breakfast, lunch and deserts. The duck confit is pretty good, the pate appetizer is a good way to start. Nice staff and good service. Artsy and cute blue white theme design is pleasing. Thank you for your nice comment. See you soon !

Elegance is the word of the day at 'Le Parc', the BEST WESTERN Beausejour Hotel restaurant. Its sand and claret-coloured table cloths, immaculate service, cuisine based on fresh local produce and its enormous picture windows overlooking the Pyrenees make
We decided to try the restaurant given the reviews seen on TripAdvisor. It was a disappointing experience. I tried the French onion soup and it tasted diluted with none of the taste one associates with it. A small dollop of cheese sitting on top of a huge mound of croutons. First time I have seen this version in France! My duck confit was nothing to rave over either. It Was dry.Dear Hilda, We would like to thank you for sending your comments about your recent visit to our restaurant. We truly value all feedback and I sincerely apologise that you were not entirely satisfied with your recent experience. Went there tonight and it was everything we could wish for. Great food, really friendly service and a good atmosphere. Their Basil bread is the absolute best I have ever tasted. Weâll have to go back because I want to try the garlic version!

Stopped for dinner at the Piment Rouge. We were surprised with the good service and attention we were given. The food was excellent and the price was very reasonable. We had different dishes and we were all satisfied. I would recommend this restaurant and surely will visit again when in Lourdes.

Found this place while looking for another restaurant and we thought this place looked great! It turned out to be wonderful!! Great Italian restaurant!!! The pizzas were great! Canât go wrong! And the desserts were amazing! Tiramisu was great and my family got the Nutella Crepe and a crepe with liquor. Donât remember the name. But everyone there is very nice! Our waitress only spoke French, but my father was able to communicate with her. They were friendly! All in all, very recommended!! If you like Italian food and pizza this is the place!!!

Our family of three visited Chez Tonton's in July, 2017 after a busy morning of walking throughout the grounds of Lourdes. We were greeted immediately and shown to a table. Water and french bread were presented very quickly. Each of us ordered our own petit pizzas-Marguerite 6 euroes, vegetarian 7.5 euroes, 4 fromages 7.5 euroes; and shared a chevre chaud salad 7 euroes. There are about 20 different wood-buring pizzas that you can choose from, and they were very accommodating, as I chose not to have onions on my pizza. This pizzeria also serves a menu of the day which on the day we were there included a risottos, salad, bread and dessert. A simple place, with great food, low prices and attentive service.Encore merci pour votre visite et à une prochaine fois nous l esperont
