Reviews on European food in Loudeac, France including Restaurant Les Voyageurs, La Bisquine, La Nonnina

This restaurant is part of a business hotel so is only open Mondays to Thursdays. It's worth remembering when they are open though as the food is consistently very good and the staff are welcoming. And, of course, like most French restaurants they are perfectly happy to let the dog come in with us. I would recommend it to anyone in the area - or just passing through - as the best place in town.

Terry and I drove down to Loudeac to explore the little town, and one of the highlights of this trip was discovering this excellent little restaurant right in the centre of the picturesque little town. The setting is excellent. We opted for the 18.50euro menu and were not disappointed. Included in the price was a choice of starters, a choice of main course and a choice of deserts. We both opted for a goats cheese salad to start (with the cheese wrapped in filou pastry). Strangely enough we both opted for the same main course, roast lamb served with saute potatoes, courgettes and a honey infused sauce. Ice cream just set everything off inasmuch as it was a really hot day outside and by now we were refreshed and ready to head back outside.Presentation of each course was excellent and the standard of cooking was excellent. The only thing stopping me from awarding this great little restaurant the max score was the fact that in the previous week we had been exposed to a Michelin starred chef. That said though, Terry and I plan to head back to La Bisquine before we head home.

Visited here with my Mum. I had a pizza, she had a salad. The staff were very attentive and the service was quick and couldn't be faulted. The food is straightforward, pizzas, burgers, steaks etc but served in a civilided, restaurant style with waiter service, napkins and typical, French attention to detail. Thoroughly recommended.
