It was fairly busy in the square when we came here for early dinner and this was the only restaurant with empty seats...that should have been a give away, but we sat here anyway. After around 6-7 minutes, finally somebody attended to us and we ordered drinks whilst looking at the menu. They then disappeared into the back and it was another 6-7 minutes before they returned with a beer and a Coke. We ordered light lunch and with a sigh they disappeared once more. It took that long we ordered another drink...and another (maybe that is their ploy hmmm???). Finally our sandwiches came out (yes...it was just sandwiches and they took over 40 minutes with nobody else sat at this restaurant). The sandwiches were okay and somewhat boring, and this is one of the most expensive restaurants in Limoux. I would highly recommend not wasting your money here, and trying one of the other restaurants around the Square...

Bar snack brasserie
Dropped by on a Thursday afternoon. Nice mix of locals. Extensive menu on their board which includes coffee and gauffre for â¬5.50. Number of toppings on offer.Service was quick while food was excellent. For what we got I also felt prices were also very reasonable.

Lovely bar/restaurant on the square. I admit I was initially put off by "pizzeria" as I wanted more than pizza for my lunch and tried to get a table elsewhere but other restaurants were closing as it was 13:30 so we went to Le Concept as it seems to be still serving food.So pleased that the other restaurant turned us away. The menu has lots of choice, the service was great, the food was fabulous. It was one of the most relaxed meals we'd had and the food was some of best (the floating island desert was amazing).I would most definitely return here and recommend to others

We visited Ici & La as it was recommended on Trip Advisor. We weren't disappointed. This was an evening family visit. The restaurant was empty when we first arrived and I was wishing for a little more atmosphere, but it appears we were just early as more people arrived shortly after us.The food was excellent. Beautifully presented, extremely tasty and reasonable priced. The waitress was friendly and efficient. If you are in Limoux I'd recommend a visit here.

Two dining options but the same commitment to a flavourful food, made of fresh, seasonal and mostly local products : For lunch BRASSERIE menus from ⬠22 from Mondays to Fridays and dinners with menus at 22, 35 and 55 ⬠from Tuesdays to Saturdays
A dinner at Tantine et Tonton was memorable in all good ways. Each dish was prepared correctly and burst with flavor. Cassoulet, a trademark dish in this region, was superb and very hearty in flavor and in portion. Veal loin was A#1. The amuse bouche had a fascinating set of flavors. And desserts to complete the meal with zest and style. Service was personal and proper--when you wanted help it was there, when you didn't it wasn't. Would eat here again in a heartbeat.

The tapas portions are large, so 3-4 would be ideal for 2 to share. We enjoyed everything we ordered - all the dishes were full of flavours and nicely presented. A seafood tartare and a beef tartare, seared tuna, pane aux tomats and fantastic jambon. Amazing selection of wines by the glass or bottle.Wonderful to sit out amongst the locals and enjoy a warm fall evening.

This restaurant is an absolute gem! Just off the main square in Limoux, serving exciting, inventive and different food. If you love plant based food, you really must visit. I defy even a hardened carnivore not to enjoy the flavours of this food.Waoo! thanks a lot!!

Excellent cassoulet, nice red wine and friendly staff. It took 45 minutes for the cassoulet to be served but it was definitely worth the wait..A small suggestion to the gerant to turn down the sound of the conversations between the âsalleâ and the chef or to find another way for them to communicate. It was far too loud!

Set in a restored old chateau about 5mins to the west of Limoux. A little difficult to find the driveway, a much larger sign on the main road is required. The venue is attractive & interesting. There is a good selection of menus, the cheapest menus are only available on the weekdays. The service is excellent we will return again in 2019 !
