Upon arrival in Levoca the owner meet us we waited to pay parking and start our visit. We stopped for soup upon finishing our visit to the town and enjoyed. The owner was friendly and along with our waitress provided great service. The garlic soup was excellent with fresh full and a powerful garlic taste and well made per my Slovak friends. We did not have a meal as we were planning several stops but enjoyed the 30 or so minutes in this charming little Resturant.

This was one of the best restaurants we experienced on our hiking trip. The portions were not overwhelming as is often the case in Eastern Europe, and everything was well prepared. Although one floor down, the dining area was both interesting and had excellent ambience. We would highly recommend.
We were staying at the pension and only had breakfast here. The buffet was very limited for the price--skip it and go for one of the a la carte offerings instead, which are good. Coffee/espresso is good.
This cafe is situated near the square and the impressive church. We sat outside on a lovely terrace. Ice cream was only .50 Euro for a cornet and tea only 1 Euro. The shop also sold attractive cakes. Service was excellent with the waitress being very helpful and the toilet was modern and clean. The shop does have a website which shows their ice cream and cake counter.

Well, don't expect a Michelin place, but you can enjoy local food in the charming courtyard of the hotel for decent prices. It's most expensive dish is the canard à l'orange (very good). Small wine list, but good quality. Don't be surprised that bruschetta doesn't look and tast much as in Italy...

The wide choice of cuisine includes traditional Slovak, or international dishes, depending on your preference.
We used this restaurant as we stayed in Ubytovani for one night. As we arrived rather late the restaurant was about to close, but they kept it open for us. Apparently there is some outdoor seating, but we stayed inside, in a small room right next to reception. The food was fresh and tasty, giving an insight into Slovak cuisine.

Interesting original fully reconstructed old medieval arsenal. Original architecture outside and inside. Some very nice views from upstairs rooms. Odd car approach and parking facilities. Rooms are sweet and well equipped with old local style furniture. Sanitary equipments to latest good standards. Prices on high side. Restaurant rooms are cosy and pleasant. Service was too slow.

ReÅ¡taurácia U 3 ApoÅ¡tolov was an average spot for lunch in every aspect. Prices were just okay for passable food that wasnât worth writing home about. Beef soup (without the beef) and filet mignon stroganoff resembled a school cafeteria meal. Service wasnât slow nor efficient and apathetic.

Cosy restaurant with a renaissance atmosphere and a beautiful view of a historical square of Levoca. Although belonging to a hotel U Leva, it serves to all visitors and inhabitants of Levoca and offers a big variety of meals of Slovak and International cu
I had the bryndzova soup, which is cheese based and tasted deliciously, followed by the wienerschnitzel with fried potatoes - while the schnitzel was good, I have to say that the potatoes were excellent. This is not complex food and even more so excellent when made well, which this most certainly was. The food itself came to around 11 euro, which is very reasonable plus non alcoholic drinks for around 5 euros

Charming restaurant with good typical Slovakian food - we ate outside surrounded by locals enthusiastically enjoying the food and ambience. We had pork ribs and lamb shanks - both very good - though filling. What we didn't see anywhere else in Slovakia was the selection of local wines by the glass. At less than 2 euros a glass, we were able to taste a great selection of unfamiliar grapes.
