The Faller Hof has a very cozy, Bavarian style interior. However, the outdoor biergarted is equally attractive for a quick meal and some drinks. In fact, the beer comes from the Kloster Reuthberg brewery which produces one of the best beers around. The service by the owner is swift and impeccable. A great finish to a day of hiking.

Delicious soup, interesting wine list, varied menu. Formerly part of the Sheraton chain, the restaurant still has dishes that appeal to both locals and visitors from outside Germany. On sunny days, the beer garden is quite charming.

The Stie-Alm is my favorite place in the area riund Munich where i live and live to enjoy walking in the Alpes. After a more or less two hours walk after leaving the cabin i always enjoy to have some traditional bavarian dishes, sweet or spicy, sometimes both. And i love to sit and have a look to the sky.Due to the distance itâs a perfect place to split a ome day walk into two halves.Never stayed there overnight but this will surely come one day.

A bit off the beaten track, and a bit more expensive than other restaurants in the area, but well worth it. My husband had rack of lamb with au gratin potatoes and green beans, while I had the saibling(trout) with spinach and parsley buttered potatoes. Nirvana in both cases. We will return!

Having spent a long day trekking at the Brauneck ski, hike, and para-sailing alpine retreat, our group of 6 stopped by Eireiner's for food and drink. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and it's presentation. When we later looked at the website, we saw the dishes we ordered exactly as they were served to us. Hans-Georg, owner and chef, prepares excellent dishes that you might expect to have served up in a fine restaurant in Munich. This unpretentious setting adds to the experience and capped off a day that filled the senses to overflowing.Herzliche GrüÃe nach U.S. und vielen Dank für diese Bewertung. Wir hoffen, wir sehen Euch irgend wann einmal wieder.Sonja und Hans Georg Eireiner
