After the glass of champagne I had the snails as a starter. For main course I took some beef with vegetables. Unfortunately I don´t remember the name of my desert, but it was perfect as all previous courses. Waiter recommended us special kind of wine for each meal. Besides of standard menu they put on our table the large black board with daily offer, that was really funny. Unfortunately, both menus were only in french.

Recommended to this restuarant and it lived up to expectations. The fact that a lot of local French people were dining was a good reliable sign. Food freshly cooked. Steaks done on a log fire before your eyes. Best steak I have had in years. The bottle of Bordeaux was half the price it would have been in Britain. Friend had veal in bacon wrap which looked nice, he cleared the plate so I guess it was as good as it looked. Good cheeseboard. Crime Brûlée for sweet was excellent. Had a drink here yesterday afternoon - we were the only ones in there and all was very civilised. However we returned around 10.30pm after dinner and there were a couple of locals who obviously had been in there for quite a while. They insisted on buying us drinks and the evening turned into quite a sing song in both French and English, with the elderly lady behind the bar seeming to encourage them! A very good night.
