It's always a bit startling to colonial Anglos like this reviewer when you realise you can expect better coffee in places like Wangaratta or Gundagai than in the Ardennes. Sadly they've got no idea what espresso is in this place - the doubles we ordered were more like very weak 'long blacks'. This place, which also has fairly awful, airport-like interior decoration, just gets over the line from 2/5 to 3/5 because of the very nice & friendly service.

We had two meals here while staying at the campsite next door. Both the food and service were excellent, mussels and steak, and amazing chips! The small bar area is lovely and the park kept our kids amused. The owners and staff were very friendly.

That was exactly what we had, a crave for pizza. We went there in the evening and were pleasantly surpised by lots of pizzas to choose between, good service, great pizza! and very nice tables outside from where we watched the local nightlife :) A very nice place!

With 3 persons we visites this Brasserie twice.The frist night it took the kitchen to long to prepair the food.But the time you spend waiting is not a problem because it is a pleasant place to be.We had a lovely diner as we have had the next evening.Very good prepared food, nicely presented for an acceptable price.

This place looked busy so we gave it a go. The staff were friendly, if a bit rushed,and the food was OK. The atmosphere was reasonably buzzy although on closer inspection, many other restaurants in town were closed which could account for the apparent popularity of this place. Decent enough food but not amazing.

Booked a table for five as we were bored with our hotel food. It's a small restaurant and the table we had was a bit cramped but the food was great. Not a great choice but we all had different dishes and we all agreed they were great.The pricess are very competitive and we had a three course meal with drinks for about £30 each. We would use again. You do have to book in advance though. People were turning up on the off chance and being turned away.

We took the Caesar salad and assiette ardenaise and were seriously disappointed: the salad was sad and consisted of a few salad leaves drawned in too much sauce topped with too much warm chicken cubes and bacon and gruyere cheese. The salad only contained a bit of corn and grapes and nuts. I didn't finish it and left hungry and feeling unhealthy after a salad. The assiette ardenaise had a good variety of meet and cheese but overall the quality here was disappointing some overly salty and the cheese rather tasteless. The Brie type of cheese came straight out of the fridge and had no taste. Also here we didn't finish the plate. All got served with 3 slices of dull white bread. The best was the Spa water. For a drink this place is ok. For a bite this place is at a low quality level.

We came here for a dinner to end our daytrip to La Roche and had an amazing experience. Although the waiter was alone serving all the tables he was very attentive and offered a great service. The food was delicious and very nicely presented! We can recommend this place without any hesitation and would love to eat there again!

We were looking for a place to eat. The menu looked great and it really was. The food was delicious!! Unfortunately the staff wasnât really helpful, not asking for second drinks, not asking for dessert or coffee and getting the bill took a really long time after we were finished. When we asked for it they said, yes we will be over in a minute. That didnât happen. Overall the food was amazing but the staff could use some training.

The small restaurant is next to the shop where you can order cold meat such as salami and ham from Ardennes. All the meat is prepared in house and is of excellent quality.I had chosen a plate of IGP Ardennes Ham and the meat was wonderful.I have also purchased some of this ham to take away in the shop.
