A cosy place to be, where you can have a break...fast, brunch, lunch, snack. Drink a refined tea or aperitif, everyone can enjoy the moment !
We were in the are of La Clusaz to visit Col des Aravis and Col de la Croix Fry, but found the restaurants at both to be a bit too âdinneryâ for lunch time, when all we really wanted was a smack. So we came into La Clusaz and settled on Le Belier. We had lovely croquet monsieur, they offer a good selection with different cheeses, I had the goats cheese and it was really tasty. Service was very friendly and swift. We got a crepe for my toddler daughter and it was very tasty too. Toilet is a bit on the snug side (interesting trying to change a nappy in it!) but overall, itâs a lovely little spot for a tasty lunch. Desserts looked amazing too although we didn't get to try!

We had a lunch at La Fruitiere. Service a bit slow and somehow we were confronted by the staff as tourists as we were ones. Food very good , wine also . Desserts descent . Check : 180 for 5 pax , no startes , 2 desserts, 0,50 lit wine ( 32â¬).

Long and winding road with lots of S bends but the views from this restaurant are amazing - even more so if it is nice enough weather to sit at an outside table. Choice of salads, pizzas, burgers and other grilled meats and some delicious looking desserts. Service was friendly and quite quick- they are clearly used to catering for coach loads who make this a stopping point, quite understandably.

Traditional an local french cuisine, in a cosy friendly place. In the upper part of town
We had a great fondue in this nice and cousy restaurant. Staff was friendly and we booked reservation for the next evening. The other time we had pizza, which was delicious too. Good place.

We went in glorious April sunshine and birdsong, and ate on the terrace watching the locals take to boats, to carve up the ice on the lake in readiness for the insane ski-jump competition into the freezing water. The food was delicious; melted fondue cheese, crusty warm bread and fresh salads washed down with carafes of local wines. Service was delightful - friendly, kind and efficient. My elderly father-in-law said he took the memory home and kept shutting his eyes just to bring back the intense pleasure. Thank you!

We had a very relaxed and unhurried lunch, the atmosphere was quiet, tables set spaciously and excellent service. We had the 3 course menu du jour. Smoked salmon to commence was delicious, followed by beef parmentier and then ice cream.we look forward to our next visit

Read some good reviews, so we popped in for some food as we fancied a burger on transfer day. It's got a lovely little terrace for drinks and is central so has a great buzz. Nice surroundings inside and great service all the way through. The menu is very reasonable for the Alps too. We both had burgers so couldn't comment on anything else, but they were absolutely delicious and fries were great too. Very French, falling apart, real butcher meat, perfect seasoning, and with Foie Gras on top, was absolutely stunning. One of the best burgers I've ever had. Full stop. We'll be back...

A great location at the bottom of the slopes, nice food and drinks and a lovely service, what more can you ask for? All the staff we encountered on our visits during the week were very friendly. We would certainly recommend this place.

If you're ever in Col de Aravis, stop and get a delicious authentic home cooked meal of the region at Chalet Savoyard. The tartiflette, fondue, and a variety of platters which are served with delicious potato pancakes, and fresh cheeses are quite pleasant after a days hike. And the scenery is spectacular. Highly recommend this restaurant for fresh regional specialties.

Our family have been here on three separate occasions and enjoyed every meal immensely. Particularly favorite mains include the cote de beouf and the tartiflette. The salads are nice complements, and the tarte tatin, the tiramisu, the chocolate cake and the rib au lait are all great desserts. The house white and red wines are fine for my taste and great value. Best of all is the atmosphere which is truly buzzing on a Friday evening when the place is full. Dogs are welcome too.
