Had the taster menu â¬18 for three courses. Salad was tasteless seafood stew was not bad but the special rice was not cooked and I've no idea what type of shell fish camewith it. One member of our party had the sole which was way over cooked. Best part of the meal was the sangria and the choc ice on a stick.Buenas noches!!! Buenas noches!!!

Had a meal for 2 in the evening,,,terrible service,,basically 2 teenagers running amok,,,very slow,,very rude and the young man had dirty hands whilst serving us,,,the food was badly under-cooked resulting in us eating only a small portion before we gave up,,tried to complain but they just pretended not to speak English when i knew they did,,,I had a look in the kitchen as I tried to find the manager and it was filthy,,,Left leaving only half the money and they were lucky to get that

This is a family business serving nice food at the lovely harbour view. Lâametlla de mar is a lovely beach town between Valencia and Barcelona, in Tarragona province. While driving from Valencia to Barcelona we had a rest in this lovely town, visited La Bocana without looking at reviews. There are 2 type of menus or a la carte. Fried codfish and fried anchoise were very good starters. Sole was OK and parlla with artichokes and codfish was very different. Bier was cold and we enjoyed nice and fast service that we didnât see too much through Spain.

We chose La Serra because it had a little variety on the menu (seemed like most of the restaurants served only fish or seafood). It is a smallish place in l'ametlla de mar; we were seated at a lovely table made from an old olive oil press. The service was good and we enjoyed the food (entrees ordered included duck confit, angus beef, fish, octopus); had a wonderful cheese plate for an appetizer that was so large we could not finish. We ordered a cava sparkling to start, then had an outstanding priorat. Very reasonable prices (although everything seemed reasonable in Spain) for both food and drink. The only issue was parking; we drove for a quite while to find a space and counted ourselves very lucky to come across a car leaving a spot.

Every year for the past three years we have spent our holiday near L'Ametlla and eaten out a lot. Last week we treated ourselves to dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Cambrils which was lovely but Balco de L'Estany wins hands down. The location is stunning on a headland overlooking the sea and is wonderfully secluded - you feel like you've stumbled upon the region's best kept secret. The food was sublime. We had mussels and the local dish, fideua, both cooked to perfection with minimal fuss. The proprietor was very warm and welcoming too. The highlight of our holiday this year.

Family and small restaurant, we have air conditioning, we fish mostly Mediterranean cuisine with products proximity. We are located 200 meters from the municipal car park and we are close to the beach of l'Alguer. We have dishes, which change every season
I am using Tripadvisor more and more to avoid bad eating places and unpleasant surprises. This little back street eatery is not fine dining as some reviewers will lead you to believe but it is a great little friendly restaurant serving really fresh food simply but expertly prepared. We had the fried fish, which is so often frozen....not here ! Beautifully fresh and cooked just right. Fresh mussels and fish soup. Cant go wrong not here anyway!Secreto of pork, sort of succulent pork steaks, simply seasoned but beautifully cooked and succulent grilled squid.Desserts ok.Really nice lunch, friendly service and good value for money!Good Morning Marc:First of all thanks you for coming to our little house and for wasting time writing your opinion about us. You are right to say that the street and the facade are not good but I am glad that despite that they decided to eat and that it was worth it. We hope to return soon and to be able to continue making them enjoy to the maximum. Thanks for the whole team of the restaurant.

We were in a hurry to find a place to have dinner and the Moli dels Alvis had a table left for us and our 2 kids. No child menu was offered besides the usual French Fries plate. The drinks were served in bottles of 200ml...why in the world do they serve lilliput bottles in the land of thirst? The atmosphere was ok and the welcome was warm which makes up for the first impression's shortcomings. The dishes (seafood and grilled fish) tasted fresh and ok but the amount of food served felt so scarce. I took a course of several dishes and I'm sorry to say I was still hungry when I left. Plus waiting time was without an end to it, or so it genuinely felt. I tipped the waiter for the comparatively nice welcome, but I definitely do not recommend the place for adults with kids who don't drink liquor.

We had dinner here, two adults and a 4yo boy. We had 1 Entree and 2 Main courses, 1 ration de croquetas, a bottle of white wine, water and coffee. The food was quite good and well presented. The entrée (three scallops) was excellent but rather small given its price. The fish was very good, the filet was ordered ârareâ (âpoco hechoâ) but came âmediumâ (âa puntoâ), unfortunately. The products were all fresh and of fine quality. The service here was very friendly. The negative points were that the âamuse boucheâ just came for two persons, the child was âleft unservedâ. And when we got the bill we learnt that the bread was charged for each person as well. Well, we paid over 130 EUR , which we felt was too much for the value and the location.
