We went to the Piste Restaurant for lunch and had the sauteed reindeer buffet and a burger. The buffet was â¬23 and was a really good mashed potato with sauteed reindeer, pickles and berries. The burger was â¬16 and came with chips and it was more than enough for my hungry son! I went back to the buffet for more, a couple of times so food value for the amount of food I had.

Probably the most expensive restaurant in Ruka, the food is amazing, but can take time, and the prices are correct for portion sizes. It also felt as though you should dress up a bit for this, instead of turning up in your ski suits as I and a friend did for lunch!

Have used this stop a few times in the past and have used again this holiday. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere really good. The drinks and snacks are reasonably priced and next to a couple of great runs on the Pessari slopes. A fireplace is lit outside to warm up if needed. Will be stopping each day again this holiday and when we return.

We went here for lunch. They had a really good meal deal with soup, salad buffet, main course and dessert buffet. Its not a big choice but food was very good and for 14 GBP per person definitely a bargain.

Stopped in for drinks after skiing twice - lovely! Pricey but so is everywhere else. Booked in for dinner - fantastic menu and meals were delicious. Served beautifully. Service was good - could have recognized empty glasses quicker! Would recommend the food!

We had the best meal here during our stay in Ruka. Very high quality and everything is made and presented skillful, so forget the raclette, the lappish food will blow you away. The scenery is dreamlike with illuminated, snowcovered trees, not in my pics;-) extra mention for the service, which was extraordinary.

Run by a young crew with good drinks, wines, snacks and food. Best place for a coffee or a drink and simple homely food, but also very good wines. Snowboarder atmosphere but customers are every age. Social atmosphere, comfy seating, games and magazines. Relaxed, cool friendly staff and atmosphere.

Excellent quickly turned out fresh pizza TJ order. Have to say these were outstanding! From original margarita to pancetta and blue cheese, all were devoured in no time at all. My wife is allergic to tomato, so not normally able to eat pizza. These guys were very accommodating and made her a cheese and bacon pizza which she ate most of. Value for money was excellent (around â¬15 each), a much needed energy refuel. Service was fairly quick especially as made from scratch. Very good when time is of the essence.

Booking in advance advisable. Best pizza in Ruka. Short walk out of the town but not far (no more than 6 minutes). Great selection of pizzas - it will take you a while to scrutinize the 40 plus options. All pizzas are made to order and are cooked in the wood oven at the heart of the restaurant. Good drink selection including beers and wines. Food is delicious and worth it even if you arent the biggest pizza fan like me. Prices are in line with an average pizza costing 17 euros. There is a kids menu also and desserts if you have space after the pizza. Take aways are also available although I am unsure if they deliver.
