We picked our âjet lag recoveryâ hotel on the fly, and found this restaurant nearby for dinner. The pizza was very good, with the portions perfect for one for the smaller size. The lasagna was very good. The service on the patio could have been more attentive, we went looking for servers for refills and the check.

The restaurant close to the airport has a good variety of good traditional Swiss food. Always a good choice. In summer there is a nice garden area to sit outside. Service is friendly and prices are reasonable with good portions.

Only had breakfast in the restaurant but it was great. One of the better omelettes I have had recently at a hotel breakfast. A little slow on noticing people wanted coffee refills but otherwise the food was very good and a wide selection. This restaurant did everything right! Service was impeccable from the start to finish. After drinks and dinner were ordered, bread was served and some focaccia stuffed with prosciutto. After that we were surprised with some brochettes. We noted that all there pasta was homemade and from local ingredients and free range chicken eggs. There were eight of us and all of our meals were superb. When dinner was done another surprise came...limoncello for each of us! We had been on vacation for sixteen days and this was the best restaurant/meal that we had. Congratulations Ristorante Mercato.

For the celebration of my mother's 90st birthday, she choose the "Frohsinn" which we visit every now and then only, as it is a distance from our home. The welcome was warm, gracious and accommodating, the table in the wintergarden lovingly set and the service very attentive. We were able to have a drink bevor lunch on the terrace, as the weather was very nice, which of course added to our well being. I had pre-ordered the menu and the preparation of the food was excellent, the meet (a veal roast) very tender and juicy and the presentation very appealing. It tasted excellent and the wine we had chosen was great as well. We will certainly return and can only recommend the restaurant.

Truly an amazing experience!This was just a random find on TripAdvisor. In all the years I've stayed in the area, we've never found this hidden gem.Rias is a small restaurant on a residential street maybe a five minute walk the center of Kloten. Very engaged and efficient staff with impeccable service. Elegantly set table was awaiting us. The menu is very diverse, but each of us went with one of the chef's specials for the evening. One was a collection of venison and the other a selection of four seafood items. Both were exquisite. We all started with the green salad - one of the most be beautiful collections of light lettuces I've ever seen. The house dressing was amazing (and available for sale).Service was extremely attentive including a visit from the chef.This was a very special dinner and I would highly recommend a night at Restaurant Rias.

This is an extremely expensive restaurant, about USD $80 per person for a 3 course meal without alcohol. I can't blame the restaurant for this, meat is very expensive in Switzerland. I have eaten here in the past and had good service, but this time, the service was poor - the waiter was arguing with another employee and completely forgot to bring the appetizer that I ordered.A better choice would be the Mercato Restaurant at the Hotel FlyAway, which is only a 5 minute walk away.

We visited for dinner on a cool October evening and warm central fireplace added to relaxing atmosphere. Menu is heavily focused on different fondue ,cordon bleu , unique burgers and tartar starters. Pricey as most of Switzerland but attentive ,helpful service. Convenient walk from the Hotel Welcome Inn where we were staying. We had an enjoyable but simple dinner.

The Kloten restaurant is bigger then the Oerlikon one but similar menusWas lunch time but not very busy - some office groups tend to come so best prebook. We sat outside due to warm weatherWaitress efficient quick got us drinks Main attraction is steak cooked on lava hot stone - you can choose from a small 150 gram to much larger portion We took lunch menu 180 gram included soup or salad (lettuce mostly) plus potato salad .The meat comes on hot stone and you can continue cook or not. Three sauces were offered with the tasty steakNo place for desserts 1960s or before USA memorabilia a bit tacky .Certainly will remain on my list of restaurants if I nearby
