There are many restaurants across the Czech Republic that serve mostly schnitzel in the same way we do here at the Metro. No matter what schnitzel you choose from our menu, we hope you truly enjoy this traditional dish as much as we enjoy serving it!
Food was disgusting, I ate a scoop of mashed potatoes and a small dish of coleslaw, the cabbage rolls tasted like crap. The waitress asked if I wanted to take the food I wouldn't eat and I said no, then she asked if I wanted a takeout container, I said no, but she never asked why. My wife and our friend also found the cabbage rolls disgusting. Then when I went to pay, I used debit and was going to tip in cash, but she burst outloud saying so everyone could hear, thanks for not giving me a tip and stormed off. I will never go back to Metro again.

My husband and I came here for the first time as we heard a lot of good things about Two Goblets. The place was cozy and had a homey feeling which was quite inviting. It was lunch time so we had their all you can eat buffet. The schnitzel was nice and thin and very tender, pan fried to a crispy golden brown. The mash potatoes were creamy and smooth and the coleslaw, crisp and refreshing. The proggies were a delight also.Seems like the schnitzel were done in small batches so they always came out of the kitchen hot, ready to be devoured.Luckily, we came early because the place filled up fairly quickly. Use the parking garage across the street as Two Goblets will cover up to 2 hours.Great food and excellent service at a fair price. Highly recommended.

Kitchener, used to be called Berlin, has a large German speaking population. After some research we decided to give this restaurant a try when we visited Kitchener last fall. Upon entering the restaurant the decor, the food and the atmosphere all felt like we were in Germany. Its brunch included schnitzel, sauerkraut and roast beef. Desserts were quite plentiful too.

Located at the heart of Uptown Waterloo, Cafe 22 is a hidden gem where guests can enjoy mouthwatering lunch with co-workers, aromatic specialty coffee and rich dessert with friends, and relax with a glass of wine and unique charcuterie boards with a date.
You would miss it if you didn't already know it was there. However, once you've been there you are likely to go back! I had dinner there for the first time on a week night with 2 girlfriends. I was looking for a light dinner that would be reasonably priced so they recommended Cafe 22. Well, it did not disappoint! The decor and ambiance are just lovely. The menu has salads, wraps, paninis and desserts. They also have a great wine menu with most of the wines being from the Niagara region.I had the spinach salad ($10.50) and added chicken to it ($3.50). One friend had a tune wrap and the other had a panini. We were all satisfied with our meals, and that spinach salad was one of the best I have ever had. My meal was close to $15, the glass of wine was about $10, plus tip, I paid just over $40 altogether.I'm looking forward to returning and having that salad again!

Really excellent Eastern European food! Yugoslavian grilled specialties, Wiener schnitzel, some pastas, all delicious. Small but nice selection of wines and beers.Service is warm and efficient. Venue is a pretty place in a little nondescript commercial centre near downtown Kitchener. The prices here are very reasonable.Highly recommended!

This is a small family run restaurant with an authentic atmosphere and delicious schnitzels. We went there without prior reservation. All tables were reserved but we were fortunately given a table, we ordered three different schnitzels. They come in two sizes. We ordered the large size. Our server who is the son of the family was very friendly and attentive and the schnitzels were cooked to perfection. The portions were large and the prices are quite reasonable. We did not try the appetizers or desserts. I will definitely return there and recommend it to those looking for a small authentic restaurant with good schnitzels at an acceptable price.
