Kenny's Bar, Lahinch has become a landmark in North Clare, frequented by both locals and visitors alike, for its relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. A fourth generation family business, Kenny's humble origins as a coachhouse in the 1830s, has seen it evolve
Ordered the special of fresh crab claws with salad & fries. Crab claws were served in a sauce not specified & were not very fresh or juicy. Sauce was warm & my salad was placed in the centre of the plate so it was nicely wilted!! & surrounded by warm sauce. Expensive for what I got. Nice bar for a deink

Niamh Fox brings her unique inspired whole-hearted cooking to Ennistymon. Her latest venture, Little Fox, will serve delicious locally grown food, intertwined with the natural rhythm of the season, cooked with heart and flare.
Little Fox is a great addition to Ennistymon. The brunch menu is short but more than sufficient with a selection of specials and a variety of desserts from traditional brownies to the more inventive banana and tahini muffins (available on the day we visited). The Persian lamb flatbread was excellent and the brownie was particularly moist and rich. The staff were really friendly, the service, very good. The place is tiny so expect to wait a few minutes for a seat.

I stayed at Vaughan Lodge for two nights with a golf group. The highlight of the hotel is the restaurant. The locally sourced food is exquisite (albeit not cheap). The setting is simple and unobtrusive, and the service is friendly and unprepossessing. Thank you cathy for your review. Our Restaurant is our spoilt child!Despite the price we charge for Dinner, we make nothing from the venture. It will have cost us more to serve the meal you enjoyed than what you paid ....but we still like to continue because we are serious about our food and about giving our guests a very enjoyable dining experience.Thank you for staying with us and dining.... many of our guests do not dine here at all.As with other parts of the hotel .... we like low key ... good quality.I am glad you appreciated what we offered you.Michael

Wild Honey Inn is Ireland's only Michelin One Star Pub. Here we have re-invented the concept of Irish pub dining – combining refined bistro cooking with the ambience and warmth of a traditional country inn. Here, classic cuisine meets earthy realness, pre
Ate here as a party of four and we all had the 60 euro tasting menu. We all agreed it was excellent and the concept of locally sourced food cooked very well shone through. In particular, the lamb and crab were delicious. Portion size is a little small. The service was very good, efficient and courteous. Booking the restaurant is a bit of an ordeal and maybe they could make it easier on themselves and the customer. Its probably worth staying overnight to make it more enjoyable.

Restaurant, Cafe with rooms over looking the famous cascades in Ennistymon. Family owned & operated, spacious dining room with stunning views, specializing in reasonably priced seafood.
Ate a lovely meal there recently with my wife. I had the sea bass with sandfire and potatoes and she the seafood platter. Both excellent. as was the vanilla ice cream after and a lovely bottlel of white sauvignon blanc wine. Reasonably priced and very friendly staff. There was also an excellent acoustic/Spanish guitar player playing there that evening. Would definitely recommend.

There's a limited menu, so the mussels & the bacon and cabbage special were gone when we arrived. The food was really good - we ordered lamb stew, beef and guinness, caesar salad, spaghetti bolognese, all mopped up & enjoyed. Nice, friendly & efficient staff. The prices are very reasonable especially in view of the good cooking... highly recommended.
