Mediterraneo Ristorante in Gigiri is a charming, Italian-villa style venue with beautiful outdoor seating and expansive gardens that make any meal memorable, whether a special occasion or an everyday affair. We are dedicated to recreating an authentic Ita
This is a fairly good Italian style restaurant, and they definately serve some very good dishes. My favorite is the traditional parma pizza and the Marco Polo pasta dish. They also have a variety of decent wines. But the tablecloths and seat cushions are all dirty, and clearly in need of more frequent cleaning/ washing. So also the waiters, who can be smelled at several meters distance. Not so much effort needed to make a meal here becoming a real good experience, but the cleanliness really pulls my rating of this restaurant down.

Art Cafe when up and coming had great food and service. Now, according to the servers, their vendors donât always send goods so it limits their menus, despite the site. The art breakfast is a favorite and comes well prepared. The spaghetti is just ok. The fish rarely has the gnocchi so we skip it most of the time, as it used to be a favorite. This site is clean and has decent service but depends on the time and server. We liked our lady today.

Welcome to Mugg & Bean Village Market, Nairobi. In the spirit of generosity, Mugg and Bean keeps giving you more and more.
This is a really nice place. Spacious with indoor and outdoor seating. Though part of a chain it has its own character here amid many eating places.Their designed coffees were interesting. Their medicinal tea called dawa chai is with ginger and lemon with no milk. Served hot in a large cup.Prompt and unobtrusive service.

I've gone here several times for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food isn't always exciting, but it's consistently tasty. There are a decent amount of vegetarian options. The prices are reasonable. If you're a beer drinker, definitely try the microbrew made for them by Big Five.

The artcaffe at the Westgate mall definitely got it right on creating a nice environment for family lunches and even one on one meetings. The ambiance was quite welcoming and relaxing. However when it came to the service it wasn't as great as we expected. I had to wait quite long for food and servers didn't seem welcoming themselves or pleased at that moment. I personally love the artcaffe milkshakes but this time I was firstly served in a take away cup and it was only halfway filled, then once it was returned and served in glass it was no longer and thick nice milkshake but rather a milky watery one. Both milkshakes we had ordered had to be returned more than three times. When it came to the meal, I cannot lie the food was very good and well cooked. The home fries were absolutely delicious and I definitely recommend them especially if you have children with you. However with children choose the mild option.I loved the dessert. The dessert won my heart. The Newyork cheesecake is a favourite in my books and I would recommend it for the rest of my life. Artcaffe also has a range of the delicious cakes such as the salted caramel. My only problem is how they treated us and the whole issue with the milkshakes which then turned the experience sour. If it wasn't for the cake then I definitely wouldn't have enjoyed the visit.

I usually don't like to eat at shopping centres/malls, but the fact that this place has an outside seating area makes you forget that you're in a mall. The ambience is really nice. The sangria and tapas dishes are excellent, and not too expensive for a place of its kind in Nairobi/Westlands. I've always enjoyed meeting friends here - we stay for hours, have some sangria, and the staff is never trying to rush us out or anything. The service is always quite attentive, and the happy hour deal is awesome - buy one get one sangria from 4pm to 7pm.The only downside is that they give you the itemized bill without the taxes included (except for the total of course), similar to how bills are presented in the US for example. So if you're with a big group and paying individually, it's probably best to either request separate checks or make sure you have a menu on hand to check and add up the exact prices of the items you've ordered.

Tatu, the signature restaurant, has won several awards for its exquisite cuisine and personalized attentive service. Located on the ground floor of the hotel with access from main hotel entrance, Tatu restaurant is the new trendsetter for modern contempor
My husband and I had dinner at Tatu during an evening stay at the Norfolk Fairmont hotel. The food was great and service was good. The cheese bread before the meal was warm with 2 butter options. Goat cheese app was good. My tenderloin was cooked perfectly at medium rare. We had fries to share as a side. Enjoyed the chocolate cake dessert. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice evening while in Nairobi.

I was surprised to get served on table a poor Turkish olive oil. An Italian restaurant should be serving Italian oil only. Food was ok but nothing especially great

Aperfect balance of elegance, comfort and refinement. A corner of Italy in Nairobi Romantic moment, lived in the large terrace, become uforgettable moments Italian cuisine ----in the best tradition, homemade mozzarella and pasta, pizza baked in a wood ove
La Dolce Vita is located under tall trees in the small courtyard of Muthaiga mini market. Both the terrace and inside room are well organized and well decorated. Italian cuisine is very fine and provides a nice European parenthesis in busy Nairobi. The charcuterie platter and melanzane are very good!

The restaurant features a sustainably and organically grown ingredient-driven menu, utilizing produce from the restaurant's organic garden. While the menu holds its foundation in American dishes, it is influenced by French and Italian provincial cuisine.
The gate hides everything, the surroundings indicate nothing. The layout is simple, spacious and well organized. The staff is very well trained, knowledgeable, polite and well humored. The menu is a bid long for a restaurant of this type but this is no negative aspect. The 4 course meal (my choice) was absolutely perfect. Main course grilled Ono (a fish) was announced to be either rare or medium rare (!) according to the waitress so I took the risk and do not regret. It was absolutely excellent.
