Tasty brunch, variety of drinks and excellent view. I went with my friends for a morning coffee, so we ended to eat brunch, which was for every taste, with the view of Meteora. Also, we bought fresh baguettes takeaway in order to go up to Meteora, which was so close to Frunklin. We loved the stuff, they was so helpful. It is obvious that we will go again.
We came here for lunch, a family of 13.Everyone had something to satisfy himself.I had the traditional garlic bread that was so delicious. We had a giant pizza with Greek olives. The salads we're fresh, prepared to order. It's a family run business with a smile. We had such a great time so we decided to come again the next day too.

Traditional Greek tavern in Kastraki village, next to Meteora, with homemade cook food and variety of grill meats. In our warm welcoming place, we are waiting for you to taste our unique traditional delicacies and enjoy a great view of Meteora rocks.
I had this crazy idea to hop on a train from Athens to visit Meteora and my first stop once off that train (4 hours!) was Efrosino. A local told me that this was the place for Spanakopita and since I didn't have time for a sit-down meal, I grabbed some to go. SO. GOOD. Fresh, hot, tasty. If you find yourself in the area, then definitely stop by this place - they have a great terrace that I hope to make use of in the future!Thank you very much for your best wishes....we are making with the best vegetables and cheese all the pies...and the most important is that is every day fresh....i hope to see you again next summer thanks a lot!!!!!

Restaurant-Taverna Panellinion was built in 1950 and its located in the City Hall central square of Kalambaka. Its a familly buisness and is open all year long. In winter we serve our home made traditonal dishes in a stone decorated warmy room and in summ
we went there because we saw many locals having dinner there, which is normally a good sign. service was good and friendly, but the food was very mediocre. locals all had grilled meat, so that was what we ordered. the lamb chops were reasonable though a bit burned, but all other meat was overcooked and not very tasteful. tzatziki was mediocre aswell, something strange with the yoghurt used. unfortunately the prices were as if it was an expensive restaurant. probably the locals get the better meat and pay less. we were disappointed because we had had such a good meal for a similar price at the meteora restaurant opposite the day before.

Traditional Greek Tavern with open grill and classic greek cuisine.
Itâs situated in the road direction of the orthodox monasteries. I ate feta grilled cheese and souvlaki of pork and as a dessert orange pie. All were good. The restaurant has a nice terrace. Good choice.

Valia Calda's cuisine is a modern attempt to introduce local authentic recipes and flavors of Meteora region and of the surrounding mountains straight in your dishes.Don't miss the chanceto taste ancient Greek recipes passed down from generation to genera
Recommendation from a local who knows the owner. Normally, I would be wary of taking this kind of recommendation, but here, everyone seems to know everyone else so...The food was delicious but what I really appreciated was our server's honesty. We asked him at the beginning about what to order and how much, and he looked us over and told us to remove a couple of dishes from our order because it would be too much food and those specific dishes were not as good as the other things we had chosen.Another good sign: as my friend and I were leaving at around 10 pm, we noticed that the restaurant was getting pretty full with locals. If you're wondering where to eat, this is a good choice.

This shows as the number 1 restaurant in Kalambaka, which is why we sought it out. Have to say that we were disappointed. The location is not great! There are about four tables along the pavement on a reasonably busy road. The choices were limited. It really does feel more like a pub that offers food rather than a restaurant. Having dined at Meteora the previous evening and had a lovely experience I feel that we should have gone back there! Donât feel that this one deserves to be number one!
