Went here on our second night while staying near the Plitvice lakes. We decided to go for the buffet style dinner, which to our surprise was rather good. The buffet had about 6 different choices for salads, some soups, some meat and fish dishes, grilled vegetables, gnocchi, pasta, fruits and some cakes for dessert. The breaded hake was quite nice as was the four cheese gnocchi. The staff was very friendly as well! A good place to grab some food after a long day of walking around the lakes.

We loved the food here! And the service was absolutely great, we could not imagine better. Dinner was excellent, the goulash was something I was impressed, and the mixed meat platter was luxurious. Good selection of wines complements the delicious food. All for a very reasonable price. We also had breakfast here and it was also very good. Thanks to all the staff!

you can choose to self serve or go into the restaurant which both pretty much serve the same things. it's a big menu but the food is quite bland. there's not many choices either if you're vegetarian. only eat here if you're desperately hungry otherwise hold out until you leave the park.

We were staying at the Ethno House while visiting Plitvica Park. With no other restaurant within walking distance, we were kind of a captive audience. Our experience in similar situations is mediocre food at exorbitant prices. To our surprise the food was good and the prices reasonable, even with a bottle of wine. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

We didn't have high expectations about this place based on some of the previous reviews but went due to limited options and were pleasantly surprised. The vegetariana option was blacked out on the menu outside but there is one available (on the menu inside). It appears to have improved a lot from previous photos/ descriptions! It now has peppers, courgettes and mushrooms (see photo). My boyfriend ordered the funghi pizza. We both thought the pizzas were decent. Previous reviews have said the waiters were only interested in serving locals, but we're British tourists and the service was perfectly attentive. The outdoor seating area is also very pleasant. We returned the following evening and had an equally pleasant experience.

This hotel restuarant is one of the best we have experienced. The food are excellent despite its relatively cheap price. We had lunch and dinner here during our visit to Plitvice NP. There were nothing to compliant at all for us. House dinner menu was superb; starting from soup-salad-trout (one out of three options), and dessert. All were delicious. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. First: PRICES - for that really good looking restaurant it was very cheap! Ice cream (big one) - 15 Kuna, lunch (big enough and very tasty) - around 90-115 Kuna, glass of vine - 14 Kuna... And appetizer: bread and white cheese Second: SERVICE - fast, good, nice... Everything as it should be I recommended that place!

We went for dinner without any reservation and the waiter seated us without any waiting. The serving was fast and the waiter very nice the entire evening. As appetizer, we were offered from the house bread with butter and homemade duck pate. We had a soup of the day, the beef salad and lamb chops. Everything was delicious, the lamb chops tender and juicy. Overall it was a nice dinner experience.

We found this restaurant by chance as we were staying just along the road from it. Priorities were very friendly and accommodating. The food was very simple but beautifully done. In particular, the whole sea bass with vegetables was superb. They also offered a cheese and meat starter and strudel dessert all in the price of 150 kunas per person. Such quality and value are difficult to find anywhere. On fact, we liked it so much we went back the following evening. Since our visit we have seen reviews on TripAdvisor that suggest this place is a tourist rip-off, this could not be further from the truth. This is a small but excellent enterprise and such places should be encouraged and not knocked down by ignorant people who do not know value when they see it.
