As with all our stays in Paradors we enjoyed the experience it is a great building, staff are terrific and it is in a lovely area BUT THEY NEED TO IMPROVE THREE AREAS the wifi signal, the quality of the food at lunch and dinner time and finally the pillow service

We decided to visit "El Monasterio del Yuste" and decided to stop here for lunch. The menu and reviews seemed to indicate that this restaurant was the best place to eat. Unfortunately that was not the case.Food was very well presented but there was literally no flavor on anything. The red pepper salad with fish was the worst salad I have ever tasted.The service was extremely slow and the outdoor seating was unpleasant due to several wasps flying around.I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Stopped for lunch here before driving back to Madrid. Location is very pretty and service was good. The food was passable, but nothing very special. It's what you would expect for a typical, cheap menu in Spain. The quantity was more impressive than the quality of the food. The tapa (spread of queso de cabra with pimentón) that was immediately served with our drinks was a pleasant and unexpected surprise.
