A unique italian experience on the shores of Lake Maggiore, from the moment you step in the Hostaria La Speranza you are transported into a luxurious setting with a great attention to details. Fabrizia the owner welcomes you warmly and guides you through the menu. Starters are second to none for variety and taste but the best dish we had was a wonderful Barbaresco Risotto.Highly recommended and one of the restaurants I will always book in when in the area.

The weather continues to be fabulous. So a wonderful location with great views and with a good friend so the scene was set. Linguine Scoglio. A large plate, abundant with seafood. The house white made a good accompaniment. The staff, friendly and efficient. Looking forward to my next visit.

I was organising an event here for 40 people. The owner was exceedingly friendly in helping me organise everything. The food and drink prepared were excellent and well varied. Even though organising an event for such number of people in a small restaurant is difficult to manage, the staff pulled it off flawlessly. It was a great experience for all the guests.

Going for lunch on a perfect spring day, the patio had an amazing view over the lake. Service was attentive and efficient and friendly, without being intrusive.The prices are as stratospheric as the views, but the food is absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, with attention to detail in all manners.Very old school (chauvinistic), with the male (me) presented with a menu that has prices, and the female (wife) no prices, despite the fact that my wife was the one paying for dinner today!

I was in Cadrezatte for 2 weeks on business and ate here almost every night. The food was delicious and with such a good choice. The ingredients are quality and the presentation good. Beautiful setting by the lake and great design inside the restaurant, very modern and nice. The staff are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. They made each visit perfect. I brought my work colleagues here and one said that the tiramisu was the best he'd ever tasted in his life! We had a small leaving party when I left and the staff at Il Larice made the evening completely perfect for me. Thank you all so much. If I ever come back to Cadrezatte, I will come eat there again without a doubt! I'm sure by then, Il Larice will be number 1 restaurant in Cadrezatte, not number 2. I think it is only number 2 because it's not been open long enough to get as many good reviews as it deserves.

The setting of this restaurant is fantastic, with big picture windows overlooking Lake Maggiore. We were here on a quiet night, serenaded by an eclectic mix of Italian love songs and Queen. The food was beautifully prepared, interesting and flavoursome. We took the sword fish (fabulous) and asparagus ravioli (very good), followed by the fillets of perch with aubergine and tomatoes set off by balsamic vinegar (beautiful - just a little oily - but that doesn't spoilt it). OK, its not cheap (98 euros for 2 people, 2 courses, a bottle of wine, a bottle of water and two coffees). But you will enjoy it.

I have been hearing about this place for a few months now so we have decided to test it out. We had family sunday lunch with small birthday celebration.The menu was excellent offering good variety of dishes. Not too many dishes as I get suspicious whether products are fresh. It has offered a diverse choice suitable to all tastes and the products were certainly fresh and carefully selected. The wine choice was also very good (pity I was designated driver but my husband has indulged).The highlight was maialino dish; very tender and juicy. Compliments to the chef.We had three/four course meal at very reasonable price. Superior quality, lovely interior and super nice service. It was our first visit but certainly not the last. We loved it :-)Thank you! Sorry for my bad english but i desire to answer you. This restaurant is very popular and booking essential. Time should be left to find a car-parking space as well!The view is towards the east over Lake Maggiore. Service was attentive and the locally made breads were excellent. The octopus leg was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. The raviolis were good as a secundi. The main tempura vegetable and fish dish was huge and the tempura slightly on the thick side. The other main course was slightly under-seasoned for my taste.A pleasant evening as acouple enjoying nice food on the lakeside

Ispra was my base for some cycling training and I was given the tip to try Robyâs by a local.Great fresh food with a nice variety of daily specials at an unbeatable price. I ended up coming back here every evening and enjoyed a whole range of excellent pasta dishes.Roby is a relaxed, well-traveled and very hospitable Dutchman who has lived in Italy for a long time and developed his passion for Italian cooking. He also speaks a whole range of languages.And Roby was also very welcoming to my dog who accompanied me each evening.I will certainly be back on my next visit to Ispra on the beautiful Lago Maggiore.thank you much for your review, hope to see you soon, enjoy your staying!
