Creative cusine, well executed. Maybe lacks a few small touches to make the food outstanding. Location is beautiful. Fresh roses on the table create a very romantic atmosphere. Of particular interest are the San Zago specials listed at the back of the menu, in particular the deer is not to be missed!

Okey all reviews where good and our expectations where high but everything was blown away to a higher level in hospitality and atmosphere!First we walked through the beautiful city of Salo. When we entered a romantic and quiet alley that was situated behind the busy and big restaurants the feeling of true italian atmosphere was created! We where kindly welcomed and seated outside on a romantic bistrò! The choice was simple, we wanted the big plate with all the lovely italian food! Wine was carefully selected due a long wine sample! All was lovely and we had a great evening for a good price! Thank you!â¤ï¸

The elegant and comfortable restaurant of Villa Sostaga welcomes its guests in a 19th century Villa. It's a pleasant frame for your lunches and dinners serving tasting dishes of traditional Garda cuisine. The panoramic veranda, Liberty dining room and Cla
Due to our late arrival at this hotel, we decided to eat in the restaurant that evening, also because the reviews were very favourable. We were assured in advance that although we were mostly vegetarian but ate some fish we would be catered for in this respect. So we were initially surprised by the lack of choice, no special veggie option, only a spaghetti Napoli and only one starter of spring vegetable broth which in our opinion, was just pesto flavoured water with a few tomatoes and peas thrown in. We chose sesame crusted sea bass for mains but this was tasteless. The grilled vegetables were inedible as the aubergine was undercooked and therefore tough. Also the vegetables served with the main were cold and the potato 'mash' was a tiny spoonful of puree. This is a very expensive restaurant and has a good reputation so this is why were were so disappointed. The meal was returned to the kitchen but did not come back any better. We received no apologies and therefore decided to eat elsewhere for the rest of our stay. I have reviewed the hotel separately.Dear guest,We are deeply sorry to read your review. We think your dissatisfaction with our cuisine was due to the fact that you arrived quite late and that the kitchen was already technically closed. We wanted to meet you halfway but with an obviously smaller choice of menu. We apologize because, by your review on our hotel we saw that you enjoyed your stay at Villa Sostaga. If you choose our hotel for a stay on Lake Garda again, we would be delighted to show you our restaurant in a better light.Cordially,The Seresina family

I had read that Lido 84 had achieved a place in the worldâs top 100 restaurants before I booked so expectations were high. The restaurant also has a Michelin star. The service was as good as possible with waiters and commis chefs in abundance, and all passionate as well as speaking excellent English. The owner took a lot of time to explain the menus to us and when each course arrived the individual waiter again took time to explain things. We took the 6 course classical tasting menu at 80 euros. Each course was excellent and not too large. The exception was the sweets which kept appearing and were amazing. This restaurant well deserves its place in the top 100 and really should have at least a 2nd Michelin star. The other bonus is that the price, for what we had, was reasonable, mainly because the wines are fairly priced. We paid a total of 130 euros a head and donât begrudge it at all.

Keller is the new modern Osteria in the heart of the medieval village of San Giacomo in Ponte Caffaro. Keller was born from the experience and passion of Chef Michele Bordiga who decided to offer his cuisine in an intimate and informal environment, charac
Our party of nine was promptly served by friendly wait staff and everyone enjoyed their meals, from the first course to the dessert. The pizzas were hot and thin-crusted, the meat was tender and flavourful, the desserts were fresh. The children enjoyed being able to run about at the playground while the adults savoured their meals. The prices were high by Italian standards, but not unreasonable (â¬100 for a family of five, including wine and dessert).Informiamo il lettore che il Ristorante Il Refino è stato rinnovato nei suoi locali e ha cambiato gestione dopo un periodo di chiusura. We were told about La Darsena by the manager at the Hotel Grand Fasano (which we also highly recommend). They offered a shuttle directly to the restaurant which was a great help while traveling with my 80 year old father-in-law. We were greeted warmly and entered into a modern dining room decorated in elegant shades of cream and browns. The menu offers plenty of seafood options however we ordered the Australian beef, quail, and prosciutto pizza. All were excellent quality and well prepared. You could easily make this a place for a special occasion or for a casual dinner while on vacation with family. Exceptional customer service by nice young men who were helpful and kind.

Phantastic food, lovely service, lovely location with space for children and dogs, though tranquility of a spacious, well kept garden with lake and mountain view. Would be our first adress to return to when being at Lake Idro.
We found this place on TA while on a road trip from Saló. Very nice garden area - quirky. The waitress was great fun - very charming. We had fish risotto and pasta with "lake ragu". Very delicious. For dessert we shared orange cake (Nonna's recipe). Don't miss this place!
