Featuring updated versions of classic alpine inspired cuisine, including German, Swiss and Austrian favorites. We'll be serving imported German beer and wine as well as beer and wine made in New York State.
I agree with the other reviewers. This restaurant is excellent and is probably the best we have been to in the area. Nice selection of beers and delicious food. I loved my fish, one of my kids had very tasty mushroom dumplings, and my husband really enjoyed his chicken schnitzel. The atmosphere is very cozy. Highly recommend!

We had a very pleasant experience here. The interior is nicely done, from the comfortable upholstered chairs, to the eclectic decorations, to the painted ceiling. The wines and the food are delicious, and the service (our server was Cheryl) was warm, friendly, and helpful. This place is a hidden gemâitâs tucked away in back of the post office, near the service station. It's quite small, which adds to the charm.

Bistro Brie & Bordeaux is a casual French County resturant in the heart of the Catskills, offering classic French classics and modern new favorites. During the Christmas Holidays we are open every night and President's week we are open additinal hours. We
My teenage daughter, wife and I spent a long weekend skiing at Windham. We wound up having dinner at Bistro Brie and Bordeaux twice. Itâs a charming space and the service is lovely and very attentive. The food is outstanding, sometimes bordering on sublime. Standouts were the crabcake on avocado mash and greens appetizer, The grilled shrimp appetizer with three different sauces, the mushroom risotto, the roast chicken (among the tenderest and most delicious we have ever had), the grilled branzino special, moules frites and linguine with salmon and other seafood. The apple tart with homemade salted caramel ice cream was also divine. The profiteroles had a wonderful bittersweet chocolate sauce, and the cream puffs were good. Our only complaint was that the vanilla ice cream in could have been a bit softer and creamier, like the salted caramel ice cream that came with the apple tart, and needed more vanilla flavor. Otherwise, everything was outstanding. They have a very good wine list as well and very nice wines by the glass. We had a white bordeaux that was delicious.Crystal at the bar, and who also serves as a maître dâ has a special flair for welcoming guests and transmits a delightful, upbeat attitude that is infectious. We wish we had a restaurant like this where we live in Westchester County. It is worthy of New York City cuisine!

Hereâs a real Northern European treat right in the middle of a quaint Windham NY. My son and I stopped by for dinner thinking about fondue, but were surprised by the wonderful German fare including JagerSchnitzel, awesome bread, Escargot- which were stellar, German beer in a stein, awesome chocolate fondue with fruit and pound cake, and a broiled Lobster. Very impressed with the decor, the service, and convenient location. Donât miss this place!!
