Having searched restaurants in Granada on trip advisor, this popped up and the reviews intrigued me, so I researched and decide to book as it sounded amazing. I contacted Francisco by e mail and he confirmed our booking. I was looking forward to this so much. I have to say, the experience and the food lived up to and exceeded expectation. The place was full with 10 of us dining. Francisco explained each dish, and wine, and told us why he was serving, and how he was cooking the dish. I lost count at about 14, but there was a lot of courses. Some just a mouthful, but each one delicious in its own way. Some of my favourites were the scrambled egg with shrimp and garlic scapes, Hake in saffron sauce, asparagus and almonds and the pork. Included was also wine and sherry with each course, which were generously topped up!I donât want to spoil the experience for anyone so I wonât go on, but needless to say this is a unique place and you are missing out if you donât do go here and sample Franciscoâs food. There is no price, you pay what you think the food was worth. Simply you must go here if you love food and food experiences.

Grenada is full of jamon shops, but opted for a vegan meal, and were not sorry. `the food was tasty, and the service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.But why doesn't Tripadvisor offer 'vegan' or 'vegetarian' as an option in searching for restaurants? We found it off the street - but surely other customers might be looking for such restaurants?

If you are in Granada and looking for a break from the delicious Spanish cuisine this is a fabulous choice. Delicious fresh food, good service and excellent value. You will not be disappointed. My daughter required gluten free menu and they had a good selection of pastas. Their carbonara sauce was excellent. Their pizzas are very good to. Recommended 100%. Will come back!Grazie mille

We visited The Kafka Tavern on our last evening in Granada and were so glad we'd walked the extra ten minutes to find it as it featured the best wine list we encountered in a 10-day visit to Spain as well as outstanding (complimentary) tapas. It was a cold night and we were appreciative of the delicious and warming wild mushroom soup which arrived with our first glass of wine. We were keen to try wine from lesser-known regions of Spain and the bar featured a really helpful wine map and blackboard listing wine types, regions and flavours. During our evening, we tried a gorgeous range of wines from Cadiz, Toro, Almansa and Rioja accompanied by cous cous and roasted veg and ox cheeks in red wine. The bar staff were friendly and helpful and there was a nice mix of locals and tourists who visited through the evening. We thoroughly recommend a visit!Dear Michelle and Darren,It is a pleasure to read your review. Small, unpretentious restaurant that serves the most amazing dishes.Dont be put off by external appearance of restaurant as it looks nothing special. Presentation is key here and it certainly delivers the wow factor. Every dish is presented so artistically and beautifully. Excellent service too.

I found this bar on tripadvisor and couldnât believe my luck. I had been very disappointed with a bar we went to the previous night who claimed to offer craft beer but only had 2/3 options and only one on tap. Here there is a selection of at least 20 on tap and many more in vans or bottles you really are spoilt for choice.What I liked most about this bar is that it is so refined more wine bar than normal bar. It has a lot of space between tables and the bar with bar stools and music playing. The service was friendly and efficient. We were offered a tapa but declined this. We enjoyed our beer choices and will definitely return and stay for food too.

Best place in Granada to Eat cheap and quality food. Pasta and pizzas are great and the meat even better. However, the home made tarts are just incredible.

This is full flavor Italian food and paper thin crust wood fired pizza. I see other reviewers saying their food was saucy and that the pizza was too thin...those are personal preferences I suppose but our experience was great. We ordered a traditional bolognese which was good and another pasta with goat cheese and tomato cream sauce and Italian sausage which was very good. House bread is delicious and they have a very interesting take on Tiramisu. Portions are huge--great for sharing.

This is a family run restaurant higher up in the hills just on the outskirts of Granada. You have indoor and outdoor seating, The waiters are fast and the food is great. I dedicated to only the appertizers and picked from my friends plates The flavoring in the steaks was a little light but you can salt because lot of places in Granada are heavy handed with the salt
