We ate a late lunch here after visiting the castle/zamek. The food was good and fairly priced. I had boar with plums and port wine sauce which I would recommend. The dark beer is also very nice. Service was friendly if slightly slow.

At the entrance itâs clear that the restaurant serves fish meal mainly. We took 3 different fish options and a chicken schnitzel with potato salad. The first impression was not so nice as we had to ask a waiter twice to take our order (the place was not full). Meal was not to our taste. But we were in a good mood , so weâre not so much disappointed

We walked from our hotel to this restaurant for dinner. We had salmon, green beans with bacon, and roasted potatoes, all of which were excellent. The service was quick and a very pleasant waitperson. Liked it very much. There were not many people, so the atmosphere was nothing special, although the cave setting was interesting. All in all, we really enjoyed it.

We stopped here for a lunch after visiting the castle. It is in a good location, half way between castle and the main car park.The staff was nice and smiley, but the products were of very low quality.I had Kofola lemonade, which had absolutely no fizz in it and when I returned it, they brought me new one, which wasn't any better and was disgustingly warm. It felt like they poured it out of PET bottle, which has been opened for some time. To eat I had salad, which was whatever you can find in the kitchen, with cheap cut up ham and cheese on top, no dressing, no flavour, nothing. My husband had pizza, which was the best of their offering, although the main ingredient was onion. There must have been whole onion (and not much else) on that pizza. We were in Czech republic for 5 days and this was hands down the worse meal we've had.

One of the best places we visited in Czech Republic!!! Very tasty and cheap food, opened till 22:00, has very reach menu including authentic Czech food, meat, see food and fish. Also very good choices of could drinks and beer. Excellent service, all employees are very customer oriented. Strongly recommended!!!

It was one of those meals that when you are done you question how we could have stumbled into such a great restaurant in a tiny slice of the world. Incredible food and is typical an interesting exercise in non verbal communication with the staff....but that is what makes it so good. If you are in town to see the castle, stop here and enjoy a nice meal on the patio.Dear Chris E, thank you for your visit and for sharing your experience. Popped in here for a light lunch after visiting the nearby castle. The interior is an eclectic collection of memorabilia, and there is a terrace outside too, though this is on a rather busy road. Seems very popular with locals, which is always a good sign. The local beer is excellent, and the food was some of the tastiest we tried. We shared a dish of potato pancakes with grilled meat - lovely. Service from the two waitresses was first class, friendly, & helpful with good English spoken too. One of my favourite lunches from our trip around the Czech Republic. 2 beers and a large plateful cost just 260 Crowns (â¬10).
