My wife and I visited the restaurant on a very quiet Thursday evening, and we both chose the beef tenderloin.Unfortunately the chef didn't have his best night in the kitchen...The meat was great, but the (pricy) steaks were certainly NOT cooked to perfection:Her small steak (supposed to be medium/well done) was more red inside than my big steak (supposed to be medium/rare), actually they we both rare. The bearnaise sauce was a bit on the sour side to our liking.Service was kind but a little characterized by routine.

We visited this café-restaurant one of the last day of August for dinner. We remembered the chef cook from previous years who is known for very well prepared and innovative dishes. The weather was not fine and probably the reason for the unusual number of free tables. In July and September there is an overwhelming buffet with many delicious cold and hot dishes, all made with fresh caught fish and selected ingredients. Several types of bread were still warm after baking. Fried fish filets and pommes frites are popular for children - and also many adults. Two white wines served by glass, and we chose the Riesling which was really good. I tried two of the very local beers. For dessert both cheeses and apple cake were included in the menu for 225 DKK/person. Service was prompt and friendly. There are in- and outdoor serving and a bar with several local craft beers on tap.The rest of the year they only serve dishes a carte and they are also good too to a fair price. Non-fish eaters can also find tempting dishes. The connected sea food shop sells fresh fish as well as smoked fish, fresh fried fish meat balls and a delicious fish soup.

My friends recommended this restaurant as they had visited before. It was easy to see why, extremely friendly service with an excellent choice of menu.I thoroughly enjoyed a fish platter served with salad. This Cafe Slugten was very busy and interesting that other cafes/bars closeby didn't appear to have many customers so Slugten is doing something right. I hope to return to Lonstrup at some stage and would certainly go back to this cafe.

We dropped in for a quick beer at sundown and found this great little cafe. The owner gave us a run down on the local beers and his recommendations. They lived up to the expectations. Really pleasant and friendly staff. If you visit then you have to see the weather report stone : )

Went to have brunch with some friends. We had a plate with different kinds of food: salmon, sausages, egg, youghurt, croissant and more. Delicious bread and homemade butter. It was possible to chose between tea or coffee and orange juice or a smoothie. There is not room for many guests so it is advisable to book a table in advance.

Food abundantly and og a high quality. The menu is fairly narrow, but the quality of what they have fully makes up for that. I love those semi-open kitchens, as they have here, where you can small you food being preparred - and stirring up a good appertite. The place is clean, and the waitresses are very helpful and smiling and sets a good atmosphere!

The restaurant is on the first floor with a nice view over the North Sea. Friendly service and English menu. We chose the Shellfish Tapas which is a nice presentation including mussels, fried calamari, crab legs, croissants with shellfish salad, blinis with salmon caviar, tomato-mozzarella and prawns. On the menu, you will find hamburger, steak, salmon and spare ribs.I highly recommend the Shellfish Tapas: fresh from the sea and high quality!

A young team offers innovative meals. There is one menu and you can choose 3, 5 or 7 courses. There are also single courses available. We chose the 5 course menu which was delicious. Friendly, very attentive service. For slow food lovers who value high quality ingredients and ambitious cooks, this is the right place.

Had only a weekday lunch in Bryghuset Vendia this summer so this revew is based on their lunch menu, not the dinner menu.First: Bryghuset Vendia is a very elegant establishment, modern in steel, glass, concrete - black and white. Staff was very fortcoming and polite, and they made us feel welcome. The beer were all brewed on-site, and the brewery could be seen through glass walls in the corner of the restaurant. Pretty cool!We were happy with the beers we tasted, however not so happy with the selection of beer... Most of the beers were german styled lager beers. Light and dark variants, only accompanied by a brown ale and a wheat beer. This is a very limited selection for a brewhouse in my opinion.Lunchdishes were all very delicious and tasty.

Itâs difficult to fault anything here - though it was chilly outside !Fantastic setting, hovering over the North Sea - I can imagine its fantastic in the summer !The food was superb. Each course was presented and described, accompanied by some wonderful wines. The service was excellent with obvious product knowledge and a smattering of humour! If ever Iâm lucky enough to be back in this part of the world, Iâll be booking here early !!
