We stopped here for a quick lunch during a bike ride through the tulip fields out of Haarlem. The menu had drinks, salads sandwiches and paninis. We tried a little bit of everything and it was all quite tasty. Very reasonable prices. Friendly service. Recommended.

We had booked for 6 people and 30 minutes before our arrival we call to reconfirm the reservation and an employee informs us that there is more opportunity to eat! Ik zou graag de mogelijkheid krijgen om onze kant van het verhaal te vertellen. U heeft inderdaad via onze website een reserveringsaanvraag gedaan, echter is dit een aanvraag en geen bevestiging. Toen ik uw aanvraag zag binnenkomen heb ik u direct gebeld en uitgelegd dat wij helemaal vol waren gereserveerd. Aangezien u pas om 20:30 wilden komen eten heb ik voorgesteld om contact met elkaar te houden en om 20:00 opnieuw te bellen, aangezien er een mogelijkheid was dat ik later op de avond wel een plekje vrij had voor jullie. Helaas was er geen plekje vrij op het moment dat wij later contact hadden, maar ik ben vanaf het begin eerlijk geweest richting jullie. Ik vind het dan ook jammer om te lezen alsof wij jullie express niet hebben willen ontvangen. Het is vanaf het begin geen bevestiging van reservering geweest, dat kunt u in uw mail teruglezen. We were in Lisse for the Kuekenhof Tulip Festival and happened across this restaurant. Excellent dinner for a meat-lover (green egg cooked prime steak) and for a gluten-free wife. It's been owned and operated for 32-years and the owner was around the whole evening - creating a personalized and authentic experience. There's wonderful modern art on the walls, one piece celebrating the owner. Our server, Kristen, was very friendly and had suggestions on what to do in Lisse and the surrounding areas the next day. We went back the next night, same staff, same excellent service, great experience. A first class experience. If you're looking for a high quality meal, among a restaurant that is clearly a big hit with the locals and has a authentic atmosphere, this is a great choice.

This Michelin-recommended restaurant along the Ringvaart Canal is in a typical Dutch private house style with low ceilings and a rather uncomplicated décor. The cuisine is French/Dutch with occasional, slightly, Oriental influences.The amuse-bouche including a sip of creamy soup and shrimp cocktail did pleasantly arouse my appetite. The starter with various preparations of mackerel was well above ordinary and fresh. The entremets of quail piccata with green asparagus was equally enjoyable without being stunning. The main dish of salmon and cannelloni filled with spinach was the highlight of the day; simply delicious. The wine (William Fevre Chablis 2012) paired very well with the dishes, enhancing the positive impact. For dessert, the ice cream with raspberries was decorated with white chocolate. Along with a decent cup of espresso it was a worthy closing of this meal.The service was good and less formal than expected. The bill for two persons came to 120 Euro. Perfect? No. But the Oude Dykhuys is a genuinely high quality restaurant that I want to visit more often, disregarding my financial constraints.

Great location, between Zandvoort and Noordwijk. Hotel personal is very friendly. We stayed in a room at the second floor, in August, very very hot, no airco. No tea or coffee possibilities in the room. Diner is good.

There is a new cosy contemporary spot in town. Serious good coffee, lovely lunch dishes and a modern, city like atmosphere. It is worthwile to settle down and tug on your hot cup of coffee.

We were yesterday at the pizzeria. It is a cosy place, we order pizza, and antipasti, but at the very beginning of the dinner, we saw a mouse going from down the furniture to the air conditioner next the entrance.... a small black mouse climbing the wall, quickly!!!! In the restaurant there were a looooot of people but nobody noticed it... only us... we were astonished and we did not know what to do... if tell to the waitress, or leaving, or continue... we decided to eat quickly and leave... I know this things can happen, and maybe a mouse can enter... It is a pity as the food was really really good!!!!!!!Hey Conte D,First of all, good to hear you really liked the food and our atmosphere. Secondly, what an unpleasant surprise for you guys! Mice are our unwanted guests, we tell them everyday, use a professional company to try to keep them out, clean really well day after day, but unfortunately there can always be a really brave one that climbs walls and hides in airconditioners.Although I find your score of 1 a bit harsh (an maybe unfair), we appreciate you taking the time to write a review. The lunch we had was fantastic. My wife, a vegetarian was specially impressed with her salad. I has the flower based tuna dish which was sooo tasty and our guest had the seafood special which had tastes of various fishes. The service was impecable and nice to see proper cutlery and linen. Cannot fault the restaurant.

We had an excellent dinner at this place, food was great, but service and attention from waiters does need improvement. Had to ask for refill on drinks, clearing the table after a course was done, and so on. Pity. But again, food is great and ambiance also!! A place to go back to!!

Imagine close to Haarlem/ Amsterdam near the sea, the dunes the woods lies this place you want to stay the whole summer. Or marry over and over again, or dance or celebrate birthdays or simply LIFE. Buitenplaats Plantage is a place to eat, meditate do yoga classes, drink coolbeers, watch a Movie etc.The Food is gorgeous and selfmade and biological. The staff is sweet and helpfull so what more do you want ?
