We ate there on our last evening of a weekâs stay in San Sebastián. We had tried to eat there earlier in the week, but it was full, so we booked for another evening. This was probably our best eating experience in the town; there was more attention to quality and less emphasis on quantity. The bill was also slightly larger than we had paid other evenings. My goats cheese starter was appropriately named âFerrero Rocherâ - 2 small, chocolate size portions. My main of pork cheeks was delicious, but, as with several other meals we ate in La Gomera, there was not a vegetable in sight! My husband ate a more substantial starter and a tasty, tender steak. Would return, but, alas, we are off back home.

Really delicious and tasty food. The starter was not warm enough and took 35 min to be served. The main course took 1h 15min from placing the order to being on the table. The serving was very small, we left feeling hungry. Cozy ambience but a bit chilly (only outdoor seating). They provide blankets but some sort of heating would be nice.Recommend booking table in advance.

Lucky enough to sample the fish soup which was very good. Bodegon is simple home cooked food using local ingredients. It was busy when we ate there and had good atmosphere. Dont expect sophisti ation out here in rural La Gomera but you can expect warm welcome and good honest home cooked food.

It is the sort of small, chef-patron restaurant you were hoping for. We ate the rabbit, then the goat - no animal was safe. Quaffable house white. Inexpensive, but only 16 covers, and four outdoorbenches. If they are all taken you could wait a very long time to be served. Go early, and it is no problem.

A restaurant set next to the road, which due to its location I would normally have dismissed however the meal really was delicious with a menu containing local specialities and the service of equal quality..... a little jewel on such a stunning island. One can retire after to the bar on the roof terrace if an added nightcap is required.

This is a very friendly place, Pedro and Carmen became friends after just one visit. We ate here 2 / 3 times over our stay, enjoyed tapas, local beer and wine, sardines after a long days walking. The view alone is worth the visit and the company was excellent. We joined a Cuban music evening which was really enjoyable. We'll be back.

The first day of its season and we discovered this pretty, German-owned fish restaurantat the end of the Hermigua valley and above the roaring Santa Catarina beach. Tremendous Sea Bass. Booked on leaving for the next day and a sun burst of a paella beautifully presented.

Canario , Mediterráneo y tradicional con productos de las islas y a ser posibles gomeros de temporada
We had an excellent meal here, among others a wonderful steamed octopus. Desserts definitely deserve a mention - especially the specialty of the house. One star less is only due to the fact that the waiter (or an owner?) told one client to go outside and clean her shoes. It is a fact that her shoes were a bit muddy, looking like after a hike, but I didnât find it too polite.

We were disappointed because compared to the price not quite cheap for the island's targhet, we found the fish not good. We found the fish tasteless. It looked like it was old and heated.Only positive notes the friendliness of the staff and the wine list. A little 'to be a restaurant that is at the top of the island.Hi Jon A,We regret that the food has not been to your liking and we would like you to have told our staff to offer them some alternative.Greetings,
