Just discovered this amazing café at the Rugby Club where thereâs plenty of parking (2 hours free). YYYUUUuuum Breakfast/Brunch - poached eggs, smashed avocado, mango, spinach & bacon. Later in the day I returned for a slice of Clafoutis and an excellent flat white. This clafoutis is gluten free as itâs made with almond flour. Light, moist, not too sweet .... perfect!

Coppa Club is a place for eating, drinking, meeting and unwinding. Situated in the town centre and within walking distance to the river, Coppa Club is an open plan space with a 60-cover restaurant for dining plus a bar and snug area for working and windin
It should be good. There is plenty of space and a reasonable bar. It offers a good location to meet and work peacefully but that is it. The food is uninspired and service is flat. I doubt whether weill visit again.

We visted Hofs tonight at the start of the Regatta. The service and atmosphere are very welcoming. The main courses looked expensive at first but we chose the Prawns between two people with a plate of Rosti (£34 in total) which was enough as a light-ish meal, my husband had the steak. Both meals were fantastic, so well cooked. The new owners are very friendly, Hofs is well worth a visit. The Proseco was expensive -£40 for a bottle. Theyâre on to a good thing as newcomers in Henley, but a few cheaper options of food and drink would a be welcome addition to the menu.

The restaurant revamp is fabulous, the food we had was excellent, most probably one of the best steak tartares we have ever tasted. Service was very friendly but poor. The waiter was struggling to deal with 6 tables very friendly but forgetful and long waits for anything Hi Liamandkim,Thank you for taking the time to write the review. I am pleased you enjoyed the visit however the service let you down on the night. I am sorry about this. I have shared your feedback with the team and it will be taken on-board to improve from our mistakes.I hope you will visit us again to see improvement.ThanksJimmy

We ate here after the Henley literary festival. Itâs conveniently situated just off the high street. The restaurant is quite small and a bit cramped but the food is delicious. The service is excellent, friendly and efficient. There is a proper pizza oven and though we did not eat pizza they looked and smelled delicious.I believe gluten free options are available. Definitely worth a visit. Check on opening times as they are a bit limited.

After checking the restaurant and pubs in Henley-on-Thames on a recent visit friends and I decided to try this restaurant in the centre of the town. Itâs a well presented restaurant with table linen extremely friendly staff with a real welcoming ambiance. It does seem to be where locals eat which is always shows a good standard. Our food was excellent two of our friends had the selection of fish with olive oil and garlic with vegetables others had steaks dishes all were of a good standard. With good quality food high quality service prices are a little high but that represents the standard I would highly recommend this restaurant

Shaun Dickens at The Boathouse, Henley-on-Thames, brings together fresh, local British produce, an unparalleled riverside setting, and the very highest standards of service. âRecently awarded our coveted AA 3 Rosette Award, our uncompromising approach to
Dinner tonight at Shaun Dickens in Henley on Thames. What a gem, what a surprise, though with a score of 6 in the Good Food Guide it shouldnât really have been a surprise. Dickens has worked with some seriously good chefs, notably Raymond Blanc of the Manoir aux QuatâSaisons (Michelin 2 star) and with Thomas Keller at his 3 star Per Se in New York - and the pedigree shows. Here is really fine cooking at very reasonable prices. There is a tasting menu as well as a carte, but we opted on this occasion for the midweek menu (2 courses £28, 3 courses £34), which is really excellent value with no corners cut. A small cup of delicious soup as an amuse-bouche started things off, with excellent home-made focaccia and well-salted butter. The chicken terrine starter was moist and well flavoured, served with tomato gel, chutney, gremolata and rocket. Our main course, lamb belly, was a lesson in how undervalued âcheapâ cuts of meat can be quite wonderful when properly handled: this was perfectly caramelised on the outside and meltingly flavoursome on the inside, served on a bed of crushed peas with charred baby gem and Jersey Royals, with a well-reduced & properly seasoned lamb jus. My sweet of pineapple came with both fresh & compressed fruit, a trace of pink peppercorn and a slice of coconut cake. My friendâs dessert of baked Witheridge o a slice of fruit loaf with apple jam and honey was almost a meal in itself, a quirky but very satisfying cross between a sweet & a savoury.Wines are fairly priced, the small selection of First Growths priced better than fairly. There are no halves, but a fair selection by two sizes of glassService was charming and helpful, but it was worrying to see it so quiet on a Thursday evening. So wake up Henley! This classy and accomplished restaurant would hold its head up in London any day of the week; support this local gem, youâll regret it if you donât.Strongly recommended.

We came here for a belated wedding anniversary celebration. We had seen the owners on Saturday Kitchen a week before and had fallen in love with their cooking. We opted for the ten course tasting menu with wine selection from the sommelier Arnaud. I am not one to surrender the wine list lightly, but I am delighted that I did. Each course offered a taste sensation, some more familiar some new.All in all, this was as good as it gets and we will be back.
