Full breakfast on a Sunday mid-day.Place had quite a few diners - we came because I knew the fire would be on.Great service. The full breakfast isn't the cheapest but it had all you could want - including mushrooms. Substantial for the price, came away feeling very satisfied.

Good meal (kumara salad), friendly atmosphere. Very good gluten free options. They've recently redone their menu. The staff are friendly, informative and helpful.Good favourite to visit when you get the chance.Car parking is a little packed. I'd advise for families to not sit at the table near the bathroom because of the volume of traffic when the restaurant is full.

We arrived when the restaurant was only a quarter full, ordered our drinks which took quite a while to arrive and placed our orders (had to ask what the fish of the day was). Our server was ok but not engaging as you would expect. The mains; eye fillet and the lamb loin took nearly an hour to arrive and the side dish of vegetables were very expensive for the small quantity you were given. Having said that the eye fillet was really tender and cooked to perfection but the lamb loin was really chewy which was a disappointment. The deconstructed lemon meringue pie was a sweet finish.

Birthday celebration for me with my Mother, a first time Italian diner.Nice table away from the front door & possible draft.Service was attentive but not bothering you every five minutes enquiring whether everything is okay. Something which irritates me.Both had risotto's. Very nice. We shared a plate of profiteroles with our coffee's to finish.I would suggest eating inside on busy evenings as traffic noise could be intrusive. It was an enjoyable meal. Gave my Mum a bit of a taste for Italian.

A busy award winning cafe in central Hamilton offering fresh seasonal food, exceptional coffee and catering
Absolutely lovely little place where we had breakfast. Everything made on premises and fresh, fabulous muffins and sweets and great friendly staff. Display counter full of amazing salads beautiful filled rolls and quiches. And homage plum jam to die for which I took home. We will definitely stop again on our travels.

Booked a table for mid-January while on holiday in Hamilton as a wedding anniversary present for family. Super-excited to try based on great feedback from friends. But when we turned up on the night the restaurant was dark - locked and no sign on the door explaining why. No post on their website. Nothing on Facebook or other social media. So we had to find an alternative at short notice, which wasn't easy!Email query finally responded to a couple of days later - restaurant hadn't got their liquor license in time and they'd tried to contact us but hadn't managed to on the number I'd provided (I didn't give them a number). Offered a $100 voucher which I said I'd think about - then when I wrote back and said yes, we'd take it for our guests (since we were leaving the country again) didn't hear anything back.Thought I'd give them time to respond but this was a very poor show. Our guests had paid for a babysitter and we'd all been looking forward to the meal so much.

We discovered this place because it was conveniently across the street from the hotel. The reviews were positive. The owners are wonderful, the wait staff was attentive. The wine choices fit, and the price was moderate. My wifeâs lasagna was great. Exactly what the doctor ordered. My spaghetti bolognese with shrimp and local muscles was OK. Muscles from the South Island are large and were a bit tough, in my opinion. The sauce was perfect. The spaghetti a bit over done. I happen to prefer spaghetti al dente. Mine was a bit too soft. Others might like their style. Suggestion: order the special.

Our expectations were high due to Agendaâs good TA ranking, but ours was a mixed experience. The service was friendly. The decor and furnishings, tired and uninspiring. Our wine choices were excellent. The shared starter of Pate, blue cheese and onion jam, very tasty and a great way to start. Her meal (the goats cheese fondant) was yummy and she wanted more. His meal (the market fish with soft shell crab) was tasteless, bland and disappointing. We shared the Bombe Alaska for dessert - very ordinary. So we started well, but finished not completely satisfied.

Came here for a dinner with the hubby. We enjoyed entree's, main's and dessert's. The style of food pushed us out of our comfort zone which was exciting.Food was impeccably presented, and had lovely flavour combinations, and unique ingredients. Only let down (minor!) was the service. I had to try get the waiter's attention so I could order another drink.Lovely intimate setting. Very pleasant evening.

Gothenburg serves a great selection of tapas. We focus on having a relaxed atmosphere combined with excellent service. We have a beautiful view of Waikato River from our dining room and outdoor terrace, and are located just a minutes walk from the main st
What a lovely restaurant! The food was delicious, the wine list comprehensive and the staff attentive. Iâd highly recommend as one of the best restaurants of Hamilton and it is a short walk from the Novotel Hotel.
