A casual beachside place where to partake in food and whine with friends. For E15 a set selection of 3 entrees and a 'primo' pasta dish of choice. All the adjacent tables were laden with eat sky interesting dishes. A perfect summer restaurant

Absolutely must stop a Grottammare, the best simple,typical, fish cuisine .I've been here so many times and never get tired of this place. The food is always delicious, the fish is always the freshest. Do not expect fancy dishes or sophisticated starters, everything is cooked in very simple way but so tasty and genuine. Finish your dinner with "Caffè del Marinaio "! Highly recommended!

We visited this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday. The service was great. The price was reasonable given its location; we paid about 87 euro for 3 people (we each had a starter, a main, a coffee and water). The food was excellent; I suggest having any fish (grilled preferably). I will definitely go back here.

We were at the Borgo Antico restaurant this summer for dinner. The location is fantastic, with a great view on the sea, Grottamare and San Benedetto. The table was nicely prepared and all looked great. The menu is rather limited. After some time, the owner came to take our orders. She was rather quick, with limited explanation, like if she had no time for us. We made a full and complete order, but then the last statement from her was: "and for wine you want the house wine, right?". I argued that on the contrary I wanted a very specific wine. The wine bottle was brought to the table already opened. The antipasto was good, the meat (Tagliata) was brought to the table just warm..... The verdure was good, as well as the dessert. Good, but certainly not exceptional. It took forever to order and receive the dessert. Waiting for a long time for the bill, I went inside the restaurant to pay directly at the counter. There the owner was busy with other things, discussing things with the waiters and not even looking at me for few minutes. I must say I was rather disappointed that I was kept waiting for such a long time, like if I was not there. The price was definitevely too high for the food quality and service.The locaton is fantastic, and it could be the perfect place for a very romantic and pleasant dinner, but, when considering the price, the service and the attitude of the owner must be greatly improved.

A very nice aperitive on the beach promenade mohito and fried fish, a perfect and unexpected combination.This encouraged us to eat dinner, and we were not disapointed, The simple but really tasty food we had and the wine they served us really made us happy with this little restaurant.Pleasant staff and very clean bar and restaurant.
