Vesters is a luxury and still cosy place for an excellent dinner. We serve authentic dishes inspired bij the French cuisine. With every dish we selected a matching wine and we also have a nice wine list.
Although it is a fancy place, it still has a very familiar atmosphere which makes people feel at home. Loved the food and the fact that although we spend 2 hrs there, the plates were constantly coming, with nice explanations and also the wine pairing. A place to get conversations flowing and time to enjoy the flavoured food. Waiters were fantastic, english spoken fluently. Loved it!

Before a hike in the forest we took a lunch at the terrace of restaurant t' Zwaantje which is located at the border of the beautiful hilly region of the Mokerheide andSt. Jansberg etc. The terrace tables were almost all occupied which created a cosy atmosphere, all people enjoying this early beautiful January day! T' Zwaantje has an wide choice of cold and warm drinks, simple and more complex dishes from french fries, soups and complete game menu's, all tasty and attractively looking. The service is friendly, helpfully and efficient. We choose a pasta Bolognese, a hot chocolade milk with cream, a Cappuccino and a traditional dutch green peas soup with black bread and bacon. Perfectly prepared, exactly the texture and tast as it should be, top.

One of the few places in Groesbeek open on Sunday morning. Most open at 2pm too late for lunch, but this place has plenty of nice sandwiches and Dutch lunch specialties on the menu. Couple next to us were having croissants with jam while we were having a Dutch uitsmijter (eggs sunny side up with bacon on bread) and their signature B.E.L.T. sandwich (bacon, egg, lettuce and tomato). It was scrumptious. The terrace is nicely done with plenty of choice for sun or shade. Finally, the price is right. Definitely recommend a visit.

A nod to the Burgundian empire A pre-war building in Groesbeek is the warm décor of Huis Valois. Simple and attractive at the same time. The name Valois refers to an important Burgundian family from France, real life lovers. If you also take the time to e
My wife and I came here with 4 friends after visiting the Groesbeekse wijnfeesten. No need for starters or desserts, we just wanted a good nourishing main course, no hassle. And that is exactly what we got. Everybody agreed the food was superb, and against very reasonable prices.I thoroughly enjoyed my steak and fries, very well grilled, soft and juicy. My wife's burger was so big, she could not finish it on her own.All others in our party loved their dishes as well.Certainly recommend this place, and it has a nice ambiance, grand cafe style.
A small quaint place. Very Rustic and a beautiful spot. The owner will go out of his way to please the customer. Will definately go back there. Lots of fun.

We enjoyed a three course special for 24.95 euros. The restaurant was really busy and it took some time to receive the main course but well worth waiting for. We each had our main meat dish then they brought roasted potatoes, applesauce, asparagus and salad to share. Desert was the chefs surprise. Pleasant atmosphere and the place must be popular with locals as it was packed.

The PUUR M formula: small dishes, great tastes. For all lovers of honest food and excellent wines.
We were the only four guests on a rainy and misty Monday night. Not a very inspiring evening for the restaurant crew, but it was beyond their call of duty. We had fantastic and surprising dishes: surprise menu & wines! Keep up the good work. We had a wonderfull evening! Keep up the good work. Your place will be jam-packed even on a Monday night! I'll be back (Not Schwarzenegger....)!

We visited De Spil on the last evening of our holiday with a family of four. Everything feels right about this place. The interior tries to portray successfully a Grand Cafe atmosphere, the service matches that and the dishes are great. With their funny names the food is excellent quality and provides something for everybody with a great variety, even with fussy children. Definitely a place to come back to.

Stopped here for lunch after visiting the National Liberation Museum. The smells emanating attracted our attention and we were not disappointed. The food and service were very good, varied menu for those who do not eat meat or bbq, would definitely recommend.
