This is an interesting pub that sits above an enormous ancient cavern in the center of Gravina in Puglia. There is some outdoor seating, but the interior, into which you step down a flight of stairs, is the real charm of the place. A rather small bar with several beer taps, an array of bottled beers and some very decent wines, sits to the right. further along is some rustic seating, and even further along is a staircase that leads to underground Gravina and an enormous cavern carved out of the stone and housing a very large seating area as well as very clean restrooms.The mood inside and out is on the young and energetic side, and there is a prominent feeling of laid-back fun. We enjoyed more than one visit to The Cave Pub, and we enjoyed them all. There is a small menu with pizzas, pub food, steak frites, grilled meats, mushrooms, and more. The food is not bad, and maybe even better than one might expect, but this is not a dining destination by any means, but a gathering place where the camaraderie comes first, the beverages come second and the food third. If we lived around Gravina in Puglia, we would return again and again just to meet friends, have a few beers/wine, and just enjoy life. There is a Facebook page (The Cave Pub) with plenty of photos. If you are looking for a meeting place in Gravina, you will do well at The Cave.

The food was good but not so much. Quite cheap.The staff was not very kind, and this was the most disappointing thing, since the name of the restaurant means âthe good mannerâ.

invitato ad una cena da amici,mi reco per la prima volta in questa pizzeria,di venerdi,molto presto,quindi locale quasi vuoto che pian piano si riempie,tutto veramente buono, dalle pettolini,agli involtini di cavallo,dal polipo con le olive,agli affettati,ottimo il baccalà fritto ,i gamberetti ed alla fine veramente buona la pizza.complimenti!!!nn sò rapporto qualità prezzo visto che ero ospite,ma penso sia buono.piacevole sorpresa!!

Prenotato una promozione a menù per doppia scelta di primi e secondi. Personale al servizio gentilissimo. In cucina lo chef saâ il fatto suo. Piatti ben confezionati. Abbondanti i secondi ed in particolare i formaggi vanto della produzione locale. Volta caratteristica fonda con pietra in vista regala un confortevole calore. Direi soddisfatti. Consigliato in particolare per serate piacevoli.
