We offer our guests a mixture of a modern and traditional German / Bavarian kitchen. All our meals are "handmade" with a high passion to saisonal and regional products. At warm and sunny days our Biergarten invites you to join food and drinks under Bavari
Great food and service by Janet and Marion. We were hungry, jet lagged and needed nourishment and a friendly face and this place fulfilled both needs! We had typical German dishes recommended by our new friends and ate it all up eagerly. Thank you again for bringing us back to life and filling our bellies with goodness!!

No freedom of choice - and that's a good thing. Manuel Reheis offers a wonderful set menu every evening at the Broeding. As a gourmet all you have to do is to decide whether you want to go for the five or six course meal. There is a great selection of win
There are a number of things that set this restaurant apart from the other we went to - lovely refined food, efficient and casual service, quaint neighbourhood â but what really impressed was the sommelier and wine pairings. For each wine, we were given a lovely description of the wine itself but also why that particular wine was chosen for the dish we were having. It really made the entire evening very special. A must-go-to spot for dinner in Munich.

After a delayed flight into Munich and delayed arrival at our hotel, we were pleased to hear we could have dinner until 10 p.m. We ordered sausages which were delicious and roast pork which was also good. The portions were huge (the waitress thought we would be hungry after our travels!). The best thing about the Braustuberl was the kind waitress. She was really lovely to our grandson and even got him an ice-cream after the kitchen had closed.

We ate here with our two small children and from start to finish it was a wonderful experience. The food and service were excellent. The menu is a very interesting collection of everything from a Bavarian Schnitzel to curry fusion dishes. The restaurant is family owned and the chef is the owner. Despite the amazing food, it still is a very down to earth and unpretentious atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and brought our kids coloring books and colored pencils to keep them occupied and happy while we waited for our freshly prepared meal. The portions were just right and we really enjoyed the evening. If you want a great dining experience with unusual dishes, you will enjoy coming not thus restaurant many times.

My husband and I had lunch here the day we arrived in Munich. It was a lovely restaurant with good Bavarian cuisine. The service was quite slow but there was only one person serving (the owner?) and the carrot-ginger soup we chose they were out of. In spite of this we liked the place and made reservations the next evening. We arrived and were seated outside. The same wait Person came over and pointed out and highly recommended the crispy pork as being freshly made that day. Then it started to rain so we moved inside where they seated us with a nice young fellow from the Czech Republic. And we waited and we waited. Finally when they brought him his food we asked if anyone was going to take our order. Oh, opps. They had forgotten us. We ordered dinner and two beers. We waited and waited. Finally mine came but eventually my husband had to go find someone to ask for his. Our table partner was finished with his meal. To make a long story short, we wonât go back. No one even apologized for the wait. We donât mind taking our time and enjoying our meals but this wasnât fun.

When travelling, we always use Trip Advisor recommendations to find wonderful places to dine in new cities. We chose Thalassa because it rated very well and it was a great choice. We arrived without a reservation and were promptly seated outdoors (our preference) and offered a welcome shot of ouzo. Servers were accommodating and provided us with an English menu and gave advice on the many menu choices. We were served a beautiful bread basket and a starter salad. I opted for the salmon, my husband picked the gyro bake and both were delicious. We shared the molten chocolate cake for dessert and it was a great way to finish a superb meal. Prices were very reasonable, and we were offered a complimentary shot of ouzo to finish the experience. We also enjoyed a post dinner walk in a nearby park, to burn some of calories! Thanks for a great last meal on our Munich visit!

We went there on a sunday evening for dinner and had a real enjoyable stay. The Food was tasty and the service fast and very friendly. The only thing that could have been better was the bread which could have been a little more crispy - but then - it was no baguette. So nothing to complain.

Friendly bavarian restaurant with a sunny wintergarten and a traditional beergarden.
Went to this restaurant for an easy meal after arriving in Munich; very close to our Hotel at Hotel Stadt Pasing. First thing I would suggest, is if you're going at peak dinner time, book first if you can! We didn't, and it was packed, we were very lucky they were able to find us a table quickly. We were greeted with very friendly service, despite the crowded place. The food was delicious, and we couldn't resist trying the apple strudel for dessert. Very glad we were able to try Franzz.

Lovely restaurant, beautiful and tasty food. Great service - faultless. We ate here 1 night and were not disappointed. Extensive menu and specials board. Fresh food, good sized portions. Nice interior, if not slightly small. We left happy and would return if ever in Munich.

A very unassuming exterior hides a well appointed and large restaurant staffed by women. Very good food, interesting and very well presented. I had asparagus with chicken which had been roasted with truffle under the crisp skin,a total winner. All four of us were impressed with the food, the extensive wine list and the sheer niceness of the waiting staff.Dear Susan2395,Thank you for taking your time to share your impressions from your visit here on TripAdvisor. What a pleasure to read your kind review. It´s a real delight, that you enjoyed your dinner last sunday in our restaurant. We´re looking forward to welcome you once again.Best regards from Pasing!Christina LeippiRestaurant manager
