Good reviews drew us to this place, but, overall, we were disappointed. We were a large group, and sure enough, some dishes were delicious. But at the end of the day, too many of them were just mediocre, and not worth the price.Especially disappointing was the fact that the wine list only had expensive choices, when Burgundy in general and Cote d'Or, in particular, produce many reasonably priced wines that would nicely accompany any dinner. Finally, when a waiter asks if you enjoyed your food, but you didn't, he shouldn't scoff at you if you tell him so - politely but honestly. However, this is precisely what happened.Monsieur, êtes vous bien sûr d'être venu manger au restaurant le chambolle à chambolle-musigny et si c'est le cas à quel date car nous n'avons pas la capacité à accueillir des groupes de plus de 20 personnes alors je me demande ou avez vous manger Monsieur dans l'attente de vous relire M CLAUDEL 302/5000Sir,are you sure to have come to eat at the restaurant le chambolle in chambolle-musignyand if this is the case on which datebecause we do not have the capacity to accommodate groups of more than 20 peopleso I wonder or have you eat sirwaiting to read you again M CLAUDEL

Let's start with basics. 105 euros for 3 adults and one child including a bottle of Aligote (superb) at 16 euros. £84 in Sterling. Let's go to cuisine. Superb. It's cordon bleu, it's got flair without flounce. A cold amuse bouche of smoked salmon gespaccio. Dijon escargot full of depth and intense flavour, lamb with a fine herb sauce, fillet with a stunning epoisses cheese sauce, A 2 fish platter. Apricot tarte tatin. Add great service. Add great ambience despite its setting, on a main road out of Dijon. Stuff michelin pretence, and michelin prices. Try this, detour for it. Kids welcome, dress code not applicable. It's Burgundy food at its very very best. All previous reviewers were right. They got me here and for once I agree 110%. 2 huge boxes ticked .......1. Massive value for money2. Fantastic food. How often do we get both those boxes ticked at the same time?Do the detour. It's worth it!
The wine bar changes ownership and ambiance. Friendly setting and not surf Mathieu and Nadège welcome you all week. On the beautiful wine list of our region by glass or bottle. Small card has cocktails, rum, whiskey and spirits. Small unpretentious brewer
Went for a Sunday afternoon walk, on a hot day. Came across this bar on the centre of the village, I was made welcome as soon I walked in, the bar staff have limited English and I speak less French but with a lot of hand waving a pint of beer was served. The beer, the surrounding and the hospitality was all very enjoyable

Exceeded our expectations! Went for lunch. White asparagus with smoked haddock - it was out of this world delicious! Veal ravioli with escargot and cod entrees were very good. Raspberry tarts were superb! We also had rose champagne cocktails and a split of Santenay. Impeccable service. Would definitely go again. Pricey lunch at 126 euro but totally worth it - both for value and quality.

As one of only a few restaurants in Gevrey-Chambertin, you're bound to be tempted to eat here if you're spending any time there as a tourist. Don't bother. The service is comically bad, almost like a training video was being filmed of what not to do. Considering the restaurant was packed full of tourists, the staff ignored everyone and were aloof - too good for the tourist trade that kept them in business. The food was salty, bland and expensive. The wine list was a novel but all ridiculously priced (but welcome to Burgundy) and good luck trying ask the staff for help.

When we planned our Burgundy trip Fixin was certainly not on our roadmap but it should be included in any Burgundy wine road trip. The old 12th century church, the few old houses and certainly this restaurant. Young, fresh and very friendly service and excellent food. If ever we come back to Burgundy, this restaurant is a must eat again!

At Lucien Bistrot, the chefs with take you right into the heart of Burgundies traditions. You will discover authentic and modern dishes rich in flavor. Indoors or outdoors, for lunch or dinner, prepared with fresh products from the market for you to spend
Although called a Bistro this is a very special dining experience. A small menu (3 or 4 choices of appetiser, entree and dessert) but each dish is a mini masterpiece. The freshest of seasonal ingredients, thoughtfully presented. I had lamb that had been slow-cooked for 7 hours - superb. Starters were a beetroot salad with goats cheese and trout, also an unusual mixture of barley, stratciatella, peas, mint in a creamy sauce - it was divine. My husbands steak and fries were perfectly cooked. Our waiter suggested a wonderful local burgundy wine to accompany our meal. Great service.

During a visit with the vigneron Jean-Michel Guillon in Gevrey-Chambertin, he recommended we try this relatively new restaurant. We're glad we did. We had a lovely luncheon outside on the terrace and enjoyed freshly and thoughtfully prepared food. What really stood out was the service. The restaurant is run by a mother-daughter team that is focused on the care of their guests. I ordered a glass of wine and the lively younger member of the team, who knew we had visited Domaine Guillon, asked I might leave the choice to her. To my delight, she brought a glass of M. Guillon's wine. The restaurant is open only for lunch. It was a great value for the quality of food and service, and a relaxing stop for a leisurely lunch.

Welcome to the Smart, located in the very heart of Dijon, this establishment offers a restaurant awarded "Mâitre Restaurateur", a music bar and two nightclubs in ancien vaults, one of which can be rented for private parties. A unique concept in Burgundy
The Restaurant was ok, but first to say i would never go back and recommend the place. The host didn't take are coats, but all other guest. we had to wait 30min to order drinks, they ignored us, i guess because we were not french. they did ignore us most of the time. the food was not so good, its french cousin and not my favorite. the hotel we stayed at recommend it to us, but i think you need to be local to have a nice dinner at le smart.
