I went to l'Aptit on a Saturday night. I booked a table just a few hours before without any problem. The restaurant is small and cozy. I don't really like the table setting and the lights but it's a matter of personal taste I guess. Don't expect a big menu because you won't find it there and I really liked that each time you taste the chef's suggestions! The waiter was friendly but unfortunately we were a bit late and he kindly told us that our only option was a 3 courses meal instead of the 5 courses meal that was in the menu. The food was amazing, the meat and the vegetables perfectly cooked and all the plates looked great! We had an Australian wine that we appreciated although the wine list could be improved in my opinion. The only thing that bothered me is that the maitre pointed each ingredient while explaining the plates putting his hand way to close and I found it a bit weird. Apart from that detail (that could be easily improved!) I had a really great experience and I recommend it! Next time I hope the chef will stay a bit longer at the table to ask him some questions!

Located in the eponym kitchen shop, the cook is practicing his art in front of the customers. Great fish dishes! I also loved the excellent wine references.

When you drive down the main road you almost don't see this what appears to be a little restaurant directly across from the hospital. It's gray facade makes you wonder what is inside! But when you do get there (there is free parking in the back from the street parallel to the Chausee de Bruxelles-marked with a big 'P', you are happy that you came in! The decor is relaxed modern, comfortable for talking and creating a conversation atmosphere. They have both a fixed menu (for the whole table), or suggestions for the day, and the a la carte selection, so you are sure to find something you will like! Authentic Portuguese, from the excellent grilled fish and shrimp to the pork and crustacean dishes, and, of course, portuguese steak. Since we like to taste test, I brough family from out of town, and we all got a bit of everything. All was delicious. And the presentation is lovely - you must come to appreciate it yourself. A very good wine selection as well, which led to me giving it a 5 rating. It is not often you find this in the Charleroi area.

Nous sommes entrés dans une salle surchauffée pleine à craquer. Pas de place disponible. Nous n'avons pas voulu attendre et sommes sortis tant l'ambiance était bruyante.

Whenever flying in or out of Belgium with Ryanair we stop off for a pleasant meal here. The Staff are friendly and helpful, the food is delicious and eventhough Ransart is a very small town the restaurant has a cosmopolitan feel and would make an absolute fortune if it was in a big city. A pleasure I look forward to every time.

We were recommended this restaurant and we were very pleased with the meals and the excellent service. The entrecôte was delicious and the pasta was also very good.Beware though, the portions are massive, so think before ordering a starter unless you are really hungry !
