Went there twice in April, but I know this restaurant from a long time...In both recent visits we asked just for entries and the answer of the waiter was "I'll check with the kitchen if is possible..." and it was possible. The main courses are made only for two persons (cost â¬25) and that obliged a couple like us to eat the same, wich I consider annoying.Eated slices of bread with olive oil and salt, eggs with "farinheira" (traditional portuguese pudding) and "pata negra" ham, drinked a bottle of red wine from Vermiosa village (around â¬11), purified water and coffees.Bill: â¬42,5.The main problem with this restaurant is the menu focused in cod and meat dishes with plenty of olive oil. If you don't like meat (pork and veal) or cod go elsewere...The other problem is the snob treatment of guests by the management.

If you look for a straight forward but clean and spacy place Dias is just fine. Today I had octopus prepared with corinder. Both Potatoes and rice plus a side salad. Fruit salad as desert. Not very crowdy place. Modest people but very kind. At some distance from the centre

Great little cantinho, nothing fancy, just the place to enjoy one of the many bottled beers from around the world stocked here, we sampled a few during our two day stop. Or a plate of local fresh produce with fresh crusty bread and coffee. We also thoroughly enjoyed our evening meals here, a good bottle of wine helped pass the evening, to finish with a nice Beirao. Sit out on the terrace to admire the magnificent views whilst surrounded by the pots and plants, greenery and flowers, peace and quiet in truly tranquil surroundings. The hosts are most helpful, pleasant, cheery and generous. A must visit if in the area. So grateful for your kind words, your fantastic impression about us... and we hope that we still gonna into that track; - We will continue to try to do better and better ... every day!Thank you, thank you, thank you!

It is not a gourmet restaurant but it offers quite good Portuguese dishes â look for its specialties. The portions are quite big; if you are three just ask two meals and share. That way will have some âspaceâ for one of the delicious desserts. Enjoy!
