Located in the heart of Staffordshire, Pasta Di Piazza provides quality, cooked to order Italian dishes, using only the freshest of ingredients - each and every time. With two vibrant restaurants in bustling market towns of Stone and Newcastle-under-Lyme,
Pasta Di Piazza is the place that we always go to for a special occassion or celebration. They never disappoint. This time it was a 40th birthday meal. The food was great as usual and the staff were excellent and particularly good with the children. Everthing about the evening was perfect. I asked for and received the bill which was reasonable I thought until one of our party noticed that there was a large discrepency. There was a charge for 2 bottles of wine instead of 1 and 5 pints of beer instead of 3. This amounted to just over £30. We pointed this out and it was corrected immediately (without apology though) and now this has put a trust doubt in my mind for the future. Thank goodness for my eagle eyed son.Great food and service but marred by the billing problem.Thank you for your review - we're glad that you enjoyed your meal but disappointed to hear that there were problems with your bill. We do take on board customer feedback and will make sure that these issues are addressed during our staff training. We do hope this doesn't put you off and hope to see you again in the future.
Where to eat Grill food in Eccleshall: The Best Restaurants and Bars

I have eaten many times at Granvilleâs and it has always been decent, on this occasion the food was good as usual but the service was not. We had a dietary requirement in our party that was treated like an inconvenience and not catered for (we wanted white bread not brown to be told they had none for example) the main waitress was moody to begin with but sort of warmed up. The other waitresses seemed v inexperienced. The whole experience left us feeling like we were putting them out somehow and we were not being demanding. One of the mains came before we had our drinks or starters. They ran out of mayo. It was a bit bizarre. Good job it is cheap. Probably would not eat here again though. When we moved to the bar it took 30 mins to get served. We came specifically to see the band who were great and there was good atmosphere but Granvilleâs need to note they need to pick up there service as there is lots of competition in Stone now and frankly better bars and restaurants. Certainly that provide better service than this. Thank you for your review. we are pleased that you enjoyed your meals and the entertainment but obviously we are very sorry that you were disappointed with the service. We always try to accommodate any dietary requirements as best as we can and never ever regard it as 'an inconvenience'!One of our waiting on team possibly did seem inexperienced but in fairness to her it was her first shift at Granvilles that night (we all have to start somewhere). We are not going to try and make excuses for you disappointment and have had a detailed meeting to discuss your comments in full.We do hope try us again soon. We do get many very happy customers every week!

Haven't been in here for years and was not impressed then. How it's changed. The place had been completely refurbished, lots of activity from customers and staff. We only had coffee and nibbles but we were impressed by the whole ambience and are definitely coming back.Hi Steve,Thanks for taking the time to leave us with your feedback, your kind words are much appreciated by myself and the fantastic team we have here at The Swan. We look forward to welcoming you back very soon!Kind regardsEd, General Manager

Situated in the hearth of Stone a quiet and peaceful location ideal for relaxing or enjoying the stunning countryside of Staffordshire, The Mill Hotel and Restaurant is situated in the centre of the canal town of Stone, with easy access from M6 junctions
Never been for a tapas meal before and what a gorgeous delight it was. The waiter (who was so friendly, helpful and attentive) explained what was on offer and what he felt would be plenty for our large party of 20.We had a variety of tapas probably totalling 12 different choices. There was then a choice of 3 different paella. We had a veggie and a meat.Everything was sooooo tasty. Some food was spicy but we were warned!! Everything was served promptly, the food was warm and most enjoyable. I have no problems recommending this restaurant to anyone, if it was in the High St.and not tucked round the back of Morrison it would get greater footfall and be used by a lot more people. Please give it a try it was lovely.
