The place was roomy and quaint. We were there on a night when the local dance club got together and they were having a very good time. We also had a good time dining with many of our friends from Austria. They were very accommodating and were gracious in every request we had. The food was very good I recommend the Grillteller with three meats although the rump steak plate was also excellent. All the meals were delicious and the beer was good. A good place to go with 2 or 20.

Capucino taste like it was made from instant coffee Two kind of strudels taste strange, and it was not similar to the same cakes which I tried in other different places (in Gmunden or Linz). Generally my opinion of this place is: fast and not cheap - this is not an austrian's quality.
We stayed 1 week in this hotel, first of all stuff was lovely and did they job very good, food was always nice, and we had a fantastic night on Christmas eve,and on new year eve as well, the rooms were very clean and with a breathtaking view, the price is very reasonable and normal as the location is next to the ski centre, Claudia and Alex will make you feel like home xx
We get there by hasard we look for a place near the road to take a late brackfast. Amasing they have warm food since 10 am and we take directly the lunch. Very good food and pleasant service. And australian tradiÈional musik. The strudelsoup bellow

Came across this place on a Sunday night for dinner. Had the Gnocchi della cassa each and beers. (cheesy baked gnocchi ) Well, it was absolutely amazing!! I really recommend you try it. I dream about having it again. Thank you so much.

Whe stopped for lunch at Roitherwirt on a weekday and were surprised that the place was packed with people. (So maybe you should make a reservation) The waitress was a bit curt but she seemed pretty stressed out by all the people. We ordered the lunch menu (soup + entree) and the spinach dumplings. The menu doesn't offer very much choice for vegetarians who don't eat fish, but there were at least two items on it, so that was okay. The lunch menu was good and came at a great price (you can find the current pricing and menu on the inn's website). The spinach dumplings were heavenly. They were super tasty and garlicy with just the right amount of cheese on top. Those were some of the best spinach dumplings I ever had. We'll surely return to Roitherwirt whenever we're in the area.

The gourmet meeting place in the Seehotel Restaurant "Bootshaus". A gourmet restaurant directly built on a boathouse: modern interpretation with proper style materials and elements - to contemporary art on the walls. Our chef Lukas Nagl sets the tone here
We came for dinner, and were very pleased. The menu is diverse, and the fresh lake fish was excellent, as was my curry rizotto and our fresh vegetable salads. The service was friendly, polite and efficient, ans spoke English. They are open year-round, and accept credit cards-- highly recommended.Dear guest!Thank you very much for your positive remark and we are happy you enjoyed your stay with us that much!We are looking forward to welcoming you soon again!Best regards from Lake Traunsee, Family Gröller & Team

Typical local austrian cuisine. We spent three evenings here and ate our way through the menu without ever being disappointed. The interior is attractively barn-like and in good weather the courtyard is large and yet has a cosy feeling. The service is excellent. Most notable is the fact that almost all customers are locals.

Cosy interior, very friendly and helpful staff (dealing well with my poor german), very good food for quite acceptable price.
