It has become rate in the recent years: a classic Bavarian restaurant. Many of them disappeared. But Krammerhof is certainly one of the best! Great âKrustenbratenâ Wiener Schnitzel and Backhändl, And much more. The grand offer of this restaurant is the â Kaiserschmarrnâ. It is a must! You will miss happiness, if you dont try Krammerhof âKaiserschmarrenâ. The portions sre big and will satisfy the greatest demands. A Hotel is addded to this restaurant. So no worries : after Bavarian beer and annabundant meal you can slowly reach your bed and dream of this wonderful meals!

We had Sunday lunch there. Hubby had the duck which was quite well cooked in comparison with other restaurants we've been to of the same price category. I had a salad, which was quite the standard German version of a salad, and my father in law ordered the ramschnitzel. The plate swam in sauce, also quite standard in German dishes, but the sauce really tasted severely of rama butter. We ordered kaiserschmarn for dessery and it was probably the worst one I had ever eaten. It was already cold and dry and at times very salty, leaving me to think that the salt was added as an afterthought and not stirred through properly. The location is lovely though and we had a lovely view of the mountains and the lake.

This place was awesome. We had great traditional German food and drink. I had the greek salad that had so many olives and so much feta cheese on it that I thought I was not going to finish it. The variety is good on the menu. There is a locals table so you know it is frequented by the locals.

If you happen to drive along the western shore of the Lake Ammer near Munich, for instance on the way to visit the baroque church of Diessen, be sure to make a stop a few Kilometers before Diessen in Riederau. Here a true jewel is located directly by the water front overlooking the lake. The food is excellent, a choice of local and French food. The proprietor of the restaurant is a French cook. He already worked there under the former owner, Dr. Curry, a physician and gifted sailor. At that time the name of the restaurant was "Curry's Inn". As a left over from that period: You can come by sailing boat. With a draught of the boat of more than 1 meter, you will be picked up from the buoy if you call ahead.

Perfect position on the lakeside away from the towns. Good food, reasonably priced in a well appointed terrace restaurant. Very popular with locals. Mooring for boats if you had one but near a large car park.

We visited the place on the Sylvester evening with close friends. The ordinary menus were not available but they offered a well coordinated Sylvester menus in a là carte style so that every one had a choice of tapas, main dish and desserts. We picked four different kinds of tapas followed by meat and fish dishes as main. All tapas (beef Tataki, Iberico pork ham, stewed beef, grilled salted paprika) tasted really good and authentic. Honestly speaking we didnât expect such good Tataki in a Spanish location in Munich suburbs. The lamb and the tuna had both high quality of freshness. The kind gift of bread in pork figure tasted like a brioche and good too, I recognized that the owner of this restaurant does not save the cost even in the details. We would definitely come back for a regular tapas evening.

Little restaurant, quick lunch, cozy for dinner, authentic bavarian food, friendly staff. Small garden in summerime.
We were really surprised when entering this cosy little restaurant. Very good Bavarian food, fresh and delicious accompanied by a gorgeous Lager beer (try" 1 Helles"). Rapid, very friendly service. We shall respect the comment on the invoice: auf baldiges Wiedersehen ( "see you soon again"),

The recent refurbishment has been a transformation: we booked a table upstairs, at the window with great views over the Starnbergersee. Our waiter had good recommendations for food and wine. Compared to other local restaurants, it's quite expensive (about 140 Euros for 2) but it was a special occasion so we didn't mind. There is a beer garden downstairs, so a good place to drop in for a more casual drink and something to eat. You can walk there from Tutzing - about 2.5Km uphill from the station. Phone ahead to check opening hours though, because the website isn't always correct.
