We eat here when ever we are in town. It is a nice, casual restaurant that caters well for children. It is nice to be in a place that welcomes the whole family.
Robuust foodies & goodies is a lunchroom in Den Helder with a strong focus on organic fresh food and specialty coffee. We prepare everything in our open kitchen right before your eyes and offer a range of organic and sustainable products, both foodies and
Stumbled into Robuust! fantastic cafe, pretty busy with locals for lunchtime (toasties, sanwiches and soups). I had a great coffee, some fantastic cake typical from holland and some amazing beer too! the open kitchen really helps the staff connect with the clientele. highly recommended!

We visited one evening when they were quite quiet. Service was fabulous. The Egyptian-themed items were delicious and a revelation. Food was lovely and the walnut icecream, fabulous. It is decorated in a rather unusual 'industrial' manner, reflecting the ex-warehouse which it occupies. Would make a trip to go back

Our greeting was friendly, the food was lovely and the atmosphere is comfortable. The menu is not in English, therefore it is not aimed at tourists so we assume it is good local food. The staff are really pleasant and they will help with translation if needed.Definitely a favourite place in Den Helder.

ooking for a place to have lunch with our group of four adults and five children, we found Kade 60, a beautiful restaurant in an old renovated warehouse. The big wooden tables and the welcoming atmosphere, made us feel right at home. I loved the open kitchen where we could see the cooks at work.Lunch menu options are limited, but there was enough variation to satisfy everyone in our group. The children loved their pancakes (which they could decorate themselves with candy and whipped cream) and I enjoyed a nice cup of soup with freshly baked bread and lovely butter with herbs. My boyfriend had an "uitsmijter": bread with eggs, mushrooms and bacon, which was huge. I enjoyed my glass of Chardonnay so much I ordered a second one.Our waiter was very friendly and patient (it took some time to decide what we wanted to order). It is nice to have a meal at a place where children are welcome. And the hand cream in the toilets was a nice gesture!

Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria. Really Italianen Family Management.
During our 2-weeks stay in Den Helder we went 3 times to Da Gino. The food (we had Pizza, Pasta, Risotto an desserts) was very good, the staff was very nice and helpful and they all spoke a very good English. The prizes of the different dishes are affordable . We spent 3 nice and sympathetic evenings at the cosy Da Gino, we almost felt like in Italy, we will definitely return there and recommend this restaurant warmly.Grazie..... arrivederci.

An early fall lunch. Outside seating was available, but we opted for an indoor table. Had great views of the lighthouse, the islands and North Sea. Sandwiches come with thick sliced bread. Made my sonâs club sandwich quite an undertaking. Burger with an egg was excellent.Thank you for your nice reply.

Loved the team, but didnt think this should be a tripadvisor top rated restaurant for the town. Food was beautifully presented, but very small portions and was actually pretty bland. Expensive too. Cant knock the front of house though. They are great.

Called in here for lunch whilst we were visiting Willemsoord museums and staying on site at the camperplaats. Service was very good, giving time to make a choice from the menu, some things needing explanation/translation, and then served up in a reasonable time.Quality of surroundings and decor inside is good but quirky, something to love or hate, we loved it. Plentiful servings of good and tasty food.

Ate dinner here and really enjoyed it - food was very tasty, and there were good options for vegetarians. Delicious desserts as well, so leave room for them! Highly recommended.
