Donât review often but simply have to do so for Hallorans. Had the nicest meal Iâve had in a very long time there last evening. Food delicious , service fantastic and very reasonably priced. 10 out of 10 Hallorans. Three very happy customers. Will be back

We are a small family run Restaurant, Café and Deli situated on the main street in Oughterard serving homemade meals, cakes and breads using Fresh, Seasonal, Locally Sourced Produce! Wines and local beers too! Serving Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Full Eve
Long story short we missed our opportunity to get Connemara smoked fish direct from the source today during our looping drive through Connemara. As we were famished from our dayâs adventures, and wanted to celebrate with a grand meal, we looked up the highest rated restaurants in Oughterand. Our first pick was Powers, which was full, so we settled on Greenway. I need to state that while Iâm sure Powers Iâd good, Greenway was SPECTACULAR! First, it had features that provided the fish we so desired, which truly is the best smoked fish Iâve ever had, and, if these entrees are indicative of what else they serve, easily sets Greenway as the towns best. We even indulged in dessert, which capped off a magnificent meal.

Went with some friends to get sunday lunch. We were moved seats, then while eating got asked to leave within 5 minites although we were still eating. Servers were unwelcoming, unfriendly and highly rude whilst we were there. Will not be returning again to this establishment. Food and beverages are also highly overpriced.

Traditional Irish Pub in the heart of Clonbur, Connemara, Co, Galway. We have an excellent reputation for food and drink. New for summer 2016- Summer Dining Menu, Cocktail Menu and Live Music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday Night.
The hotel had a very helpful reception staff who cater for all visitors queries and assist them nicely. The food in the restaurant was extremely tasty and well prepared. We are vegetarians and not about to comment on the other menu items. It had nice decor and the ambience was just right. It was so crowded during the lunchtime which was proof its quality of food and the service provided. The prices were very reasonable. We did not stay in the hotel as we were in a nearby cottage in CliburnThank you for taking time to review Eddies Bar at Fairhill House Hotel***. We are delighted you enjoyed your visit with us and we look forward to welcoming you back again.

Burke's Clonbur is a Family run Bar & Restaurant in the beautiful village of Clonbur , Co. Galway . Our Bar is Old World , it's like stepping back in time. The Dining room over looks the beautiful Country side of Joyce Country, Enjoy the sun set from our
Going on reviews, we (two couples) booked in for dinner last night.Have to say that we weren't over-impressed. The atmosphere is great, and the staff very friendly. Our young waitress was particularly good. The food - sirloin steak, fish and chips, and salmon (2) was ok. It was let down by dry, powdery-tasting chips, and by being rather over-priced - not least the ice cream at 6.95 euros.A bit disappointing really.

Decided to visit this Hotel for lunch.Staff were very nice.Lovely big premises inside.Ladies toilets very clean.Again like another premises in Cong, couldn't believe the amount of wasps inside this premises. At one point we counted 17 wasps on the inside of one of the windows. We had a drink, and would have loved to stayed, and relaxed and had lunch, but we were very nervous of the amount of wasps. An average rating only because of the wasps.

Wilde's Restaurant at The Lodge at Ashford Castle, serves fine contemporary Irish cuisine in a stunning setting, overlooking the waters of Lough Corrib. Executive Chef Jonathan Keane, creates dishes that showcase the unique flavours and textures of the fi
We're Americans - from South Carolina. We were there for lunch on 3/5/19, and Michelle and Neev Cniamh were our servers. The three of us had a sampling from the menu, and the food was delicious. The service was better than expected. We commented on the art on the walls, and our server brought us a book about it - said the owner is a lover of art. We could see that also in the bathrooms (you call them "toilets"). We liked the decor (and hand soap) in there too. Very nice experience overall. "Nice job" to everyone - but nobody more than to our exceptional servers!

The graceful setting, with rich, panelled walls and twinkling Waterford Crystal chandeliers bestows a grand sense of occasion. Our resident pianist plays softly in the background while you relax and enjoy exceptional dishes from the kitchen of acclaimed C
Apparently King George V of the then United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland dined here and the republican and independent Irish still like to commemorate that occurrence which is nice in these days of Brexit tensions. Besides the French named an hotel in Paris after the man.The Dining Room is appropriately decorated in grand style and until recently evening male diners had to wear jackets and ties but ties are now no longer compulsory. So, it is that sort of place and I guess it encourages one to feel a bit of Downton Abbey has crossed the Irish Sea. Waiters in tails and silver cloches ceremoniously raised en masse from the dishes presented to the suitably attired and awed diners. It was fun but the food was not exactly exceptional though passable. Fine dining in terms of the venue and the service but a little underwhelming otherwise.Dear Kirkcaldylad,We greatly appreciate your feedback on your experience in our George V Dining room. We will certainly sit down and examine your comments with our Team. If you wish to discuss this further, I would be delighted to hear from you. Please do reach me on [email protected] if you have any further feedback for us, or if you wish to discuss your experience further.Sincerely,
