The restaurant was welcoming and staff exceptionally helpful. The menu was superb. Quality of the meals was impeccable. I asked for a filet with Bearnaise sauce (not on the menu) and the chef prepared it for me from scratch The best Bearnaise I've ever tasted. The entire meal was perfect. The wine selection was superb. It was a memorable and truly great dining experience.

Atmosphere was nice. Wine list is very limited. We ordered one bottle of shriaz, halfway through dinner, ordered a second, but they had run out. Entre of prawns was strong, very fishy.Main of duck breast was delicious. Main of steak... ordered med rare... it came out med well done. Still nice but disappointed. Wine was poured by waitor at the start of the night but then we had to it outselves. No drama but just inconsistent. 3/5 underwhelming.

Post restaurant delivers on all levels. The food was delicious, innovative and well presented. The service was equally excellent with friendly attentive staff. The only negative was there were no tablecloth which in an upmarket restaurant always adds another dimension to the ambience.

I don't know where to start with how disappointing this experience was, again. I had been to C restaurant in the past for lunch, and this time went for dinner a few years later. Since my date had been wanting to try C restaurant I thought I would give it a second chance and be hopeful things had changed. They had not, this time I wasn't the only one disappointed. I booked a reservation for dinner as a birthday surprise and when we arrived there was some confusion to our reservation, it was a little awkward but I dismissed it and after showing that I had made the reservation online we were taken to a table. Nice view and slightly dated decor still but the seating was ok. My date wanted to move the chair to be a bit more comfortable at the table but we were advised to keep everything as it is since someone else was going to be sitting behind us (no one came to the next table, or many other tables for at least an hour). This was a slight hiccup but nothing drastic. We sat at the table waiting for sometime for someone, anyone, to come take our orders. We had to flag someone down for this, despite the restaurant being nearly empty. Finally we had our orders taken, this time waiting for some drinks, complimentary water even, and again, had to flag someone down and ask what was happening, all the while other tables did appear to have some nice servers who were friendly, accomodating and offered still or sparkling at the very least. The water came, and was spilled over the table, again maybe just a hiccup. The food came, not with the expectation of a fine dining restaurant but more the service you would receive in a diner when your plate is just put on the table, server reaching over your date and not the order we asked for. Waited again for a long time for the correct main dish to come and had to eat separately since the food would go cold, a bit of a disappointment when one person is waiting for food and the other sitting there watching. In addition to this we had to ask a few times for some sides we ordered but they arrived so late we presumed they forgot and we had eaten the mains already. We held our breath for dessert hoping that some special birthday surprise would make up for it. Ordered dessert and some tea and they came out from the kitchen, but not without asking for some milk with the tea, where we were given a dismissive look from the waiter. I didn't realise that asking for milk with English Breakfast was a foreign concept let alone served with attitude. At this point after finishing dessert and seeing another table receive a complimentary birthday treat with candle we didn't hold our breath. I apologised to my date that the experience was sour and didn't live up to expectations. As we were getting up to leave they must have remembered that the booking was for a birthday and it was rushed out of the kitchen. A bit of a slap in the face after a poor experience and then having to pay an overpriced bill had my teeth grinding. We were asked if everything was ok with the meals and service and if we want to leave a tip. My tip for C restaurant is this: improve the professionalism of all your staff, lose the pretentious attitude and reduce your prices because your standards don't meet expectations. There are many people hoping to come to C for a great fine dining and celebratory experience and if they are as disappointed as we were then you have wasted their money and the opportunity to be part of a special moment.Dear Jonathan R, thank you for the detailed review of your visit to C Restaurant (in August, I believe?). It is clear that we did not provide the service which you and, indeed, all our diners should expect for which, whilst there are a few comments I could take issue with, I sincerely apologise.

Modern Italian Restaurant. Pizza, Pasta, Coffee, Hearty breakfasts, casual Mediterranean meals and cocktails in a stylish, modern space.
My partner and I dined here 17 August. We started with bruschetta, a very regular entree for us, and shared one plate. Absolutely superb and amongst the best we have had. Just one suggestion for the restaurant. Place the pieces separately on the plate rather than resting on each other. Itâs then easy to share For main course I had a special for the day, barramundi. Once again just superb. My partner had the eggplant parmigiana stack and she also rated this excellent. We also shared a desert consisting frangelico, shot of strong coffees and a glass of ice cream or equivalent. (Cannot recall what they named it). This was also an excellent choice. Our waiter for the night was Ky. Ky was professional, attentive, friendly and provided excellent service. Thanks Ky. He even looked interested in my brief story on farmed salmon. (Ky, most people quickly excuse themselves when I try and give my opinion on something so ........thank you!!). One minor complaint. Corkage is based on people dining. $4 per person. I personally believe this is too expensive. Would we return. Absolutely!

Mister Waker is a sophisticated but casual venue on the Mends Street jetty, with spectacular views day and night of the Perth Skyline , Kings Park and the Swan River. Open daily from 8am to midnight we cover all your dining needs from breakfast, coffee &
I loved everything about Mister Walker ! A short and relaxing ferry ride from Elizabeth Quay is the way to arrive at Mister Walker which is at the top of Mends St Wharf (so just a few steps from ferry to restaurant). Mister Walker has panoramic views of Perth and the river - and views available from most tables. Perfect......The welcome is warm on arrival - I was greeted by Patrick and Andrew and promptly shown to my table (I love the high tables). A great way to start the meal is to share some appetisers - we had (1) Shark Bay Scallops with pickled cauliflower and wild bush tomato chutney (2) Black Angus tenderloin bites (smoked & grilled beef tenderloin w/ cauliflower, wasabi miso dressing) and (3) Lemon and chilli squid with nam jim dipping sauce. All appetisers (or nibbles) were delicious - great fresh seafood and beautiful flavour combinations. And then the main course......it's hard to choose as the seafood is amazing (fresh every day, hand selected and filleted by the chef) but the meat options are also excellent. Tonight I chose the grilled Great Southern Marron linguine with roasted tomato, cumin & smoked paprika - to die for - this is an outstanding dish ! A generous amount of fresh and tasty marron (marron is a crayfish - think lobster but smaller and significantly better tasting - local to WA) with the perfect balance of subtle tomato, cumin and smoked paprika flavour that just makes it so delicious. Highly, highly recommended. (My friend had the grilled fresh fish of the day with asian salad and hand cut chips - loved it .)A great range of drinks and attentive friendly, helpful service (great descriptions of the food from the staff). Mister Walker was in the restaurant the night I was there - he was attentive and ensured everyone was looked after (even offering blankets if the wind comes up and you feel a little cold). Best restaurant in Perth !

Gusto means "hearty enjoyment of food" in Italian. Gusto Food is certainly enjoyable, it has a few nice touches that make it stand out, like the free water with fresh fruit slices. The coffee is very good, I had a Greek custard slice that was very palatable. The browinies are also popular. Gusto Food takes reservations, it also has outside seating Gusto Food is in Angelo Street, near the corner of Coode Street, nexgt to Lilypilly Florist

Lunch for 4 overlooking the Swan.Friendly and efficient service. The food!!!! a complimentary amuse bouche on arrival, bread and salted butter. We all loved our meals-the two types of fish, the chicken salad and the steak with bone marrow were all perfect. Ordered a couple of sides which were good but we didn't need to - the vegetables served with the meals were absolutely enough. Beautiful presentation.Desserts were sublime- 2 between the 4 of us and a very generous cheese plate.Really impressed.Recommended.Very keen to go back.Move over Matilda Bay (the usual family celebration resto)!!Bathroom- 10/10.Parking underneath - first hour is free.

Creative, contemporary, European cuisine in a warm, casual atmosphere. Professional service and inspired food presentation. Comprehensive wine list, cocktails, craft beer and more.
Four of us visited to celebrate a birthday. The decor of the restaurant is intriguing and stylish. It has a great ambience with tables spaced a reasonable distance apart for privacy, It is licensed and parking is not difficult. It is popular, so book ahead. We ordered for entrées: crumbed prawns, salmon tartar and tripe pie. The prawns were well presented and cooked. The tartar was imaginative and tasty. I don't like tripe but my wife seemed to enjoy it.For main course: Beef fillet, Roast Duck and Chicken and Bacon Roulade. All were cooked to perfection and accompanied by potatoes fried in duck fat.Cocktails were A$18 each and bottle of Margaret River Cab Sav was $80. All up the meal for 4 was $376.There are stairs to reach the restaurant so it is not very suited to wheelchairs.
