Open from 06:45 till late Mon to Fri and 08:00 till late Sat & Sun, open every day.
Our guide on a small group tour/safari suggested this restaurant near our hotel, saying they specialized in game. Eight of us went and no one was disappointed. We shared the game platter -- as it appears, everyone does -- and it was delicious, dispelling any reluctance I initially had in dining on the critters we'd soon see on safari. The warthog consisted of tender, barbecued ribs and the crocodile served in a mild curry sauce. The grilled kudu was similar to beef and the ostrich was served with a mushroom cream sauce. Game is not something every restaurant serves, so this is a good chance to try a well-prepared version. The malva pudding -- a South African specialty -- is not to be missed for dessert. End the evening with a springbok: green creme de menthe topped with the iconic Amarula liqueur, and meant to be drunk as a shooter. It's good!

also operates during the day as La Bunixa tapas bar.
My wife, our son and I all ordered their sirloin steak. Perfect in every way. Next time I will definitely opt for one of the other fine sounding dishes on the menu. Well-trained and attentive staff

Italian flavor and style laced in Camps Bay Cool, resplendent with a splash of Kove Collection abundance. This is Zenzero. Zenzero wraps you shamelessly in 'La Dolce Vita' whilst gently caressing with a cool Atlantic breeze. Italian cuisine is all about f
There are a number of restaurants in this complex, all very similar in style and service. Looks like they are all linked somehow. None the less this food had an Italian bias and could not be faulted. Service was impecable

Steeped in over 300 years of history, the former guard house, tea room, hotel and the hunting lodge of Lord Charles Somerset has been elegantly restored with the charm and sophistication of the Grand Old Cape. The style of cuisine at The Roundhouse is unc
The Round house has amazing views and great potential.I have eaten there twice, once for lunch and once for breakfast.Lunch was okay although not memorable and umbrellas seem to be scarce.Breakfast was a total disaster. We had a large table as it was a birthday celebration.Once again umbrellas were at a premium so it was hot!The service was absolutely awful, not due to the waiters who were charming but run, literally off their feet as very few seemed to be about and had too many people to attend to.The breakfast was generous and excellent but many at the table got coffee after the meal if at all,and then it was cool.Even tap water was hard to get and knives and forks had to be found at other tables as Did salt and pepper. As it is a tourist attraction I really hope that by next season this restaurant makes a plan.

La Mouette Restaurant opened in 2010 by Chef and co-owner Henry Vigar, his wife, Mari and their business partner Gerrit Bruwer. La Mouette offers seasonally inspired and modern food. With ever-changing and seasonally inspired menus, friendly staff and a b
The minute we entered the restaurant, we felt comfortable and cared for. The service was impeccable. We were presented with the dinner options but had some questions because my friend is lactose intolerant. Unlike some other restaurants I've been to where the staff seems put out when changes to a dish are requested, the server here just said she'd check with the chef and came back with some excellent options for my friend. The two dishes we had were deconstructed so had a unique look and the taste of both were wonderful. In fact, I know it's the best food I had during my visit to South Africa. The wine selections were excellent with a large pour - no stingy drink size here. The "on the house" dish of chocolates served at the end was a nice touch. I thought the price was reasonable for the experience and would definitely recommend La Mouette.

The Hussar Grill in Camps Bay is regarded as one of South Africa's premier restaurants, serving only the best steak available.
My wife and I had an early supper here on our return to RSA. Once again first class service and food! We shared a fried calamares starter followed by fillet steaks with bernaise and pepper sauces, onion rings, creamed spinach and chips. Everything was delicious. Wonderful to be back!Good day Yorkiebb,Thank you for taking the time to visit and review our The Hussar Grill Camps Bay steakhouse. Tucked away in a shopping centre we would not have found this restaurant without TripAdvisor! Conveniently situated within walking distance of our hotel in Sea Point. It's a very large restaurant and when we arrived there were just a few tables occupied but by the time we left the place was abuzz with diners. We had steaks but noticed quite a few diners opted for prawns of fish. Clearly they have a good reputation and their popularity is evident.
